Jack, spaghetti is as American as APPLE PIE, try a ziti or fat rigatoni pasta. No need for twirling.....I use a table spoonšš
Oh, Iām not Italian but I cook some outstanding Italian dishes! My eggplant parmigiana is outrageous, Iāve been told by Italian friends and family.

Jack ^^^^^^^^pasta is all carbs, which your body turns into glucose/sugar, your bodies sugar count will skyrocket. Definitely not good for diabetics or pre-diabetic people. No reason to eat pasta then have to adjust your insulin to keep your numbers in check.

decided to browse this thread for a change. When done here...Schwan ham/cheese omelet with a little added meat (nuke it). While continuing reading the papers, finish morning drink. Hot cocoa using k-cup in the Keurig.

I love tuna casserole. Nobody else in my house does though. You can have all of my tuna casserole!!! I'll even throw in the crushed cheap greasy potato chips I'm not sure how YOU make it, but here's how I make it... 2 bags of microwave rice (already zapped) 1 tin of chopped tomatoes 1 tin of cream of mushroom soup 1 tin of tuna. a teaspoon of garlic granules. Mix all together in a casserole dish. Grate some cheese on top and put it in the oven at 180c for half an hour. DONE! Such a simple dish and so good!

Maple glazed bacon jerky. Ron, I eat a lot of jerkyš Now I need to find the maple glazed bacon jerky as well....now I have a ā hankering ā for someššĀ We got this in Tyler TX at The Beef Jerky Outlet. They have the most expensive jerky we've ever seen. They sell mostly online. Buck-ees stores have the best jerky available, but they are only in Texas, Arkansas, and Florida. I expect them to be nationwide eventually, but they are very conservative about growth. Most popular road stop in Texas for sure. They have about 30 different types of jerky, including wild boar, venison, alligator, etc. Also in Polish, German, Hill County, and regular styles, mild, spicy, and habenero. (You know that we shouldn't be eating concentrated protein like this. š¤ š)

I can't even be in a house with a tuna casserole. Or Indian food. I had to run out of a dentist's chair once because his assistant stunk of Indian spices. First wife made a tuna casserole once and I had to go outside until she had disposed of it. It was nowhere close to our first fight, but it was the only time I ever had a complaint about her cooking.

We are going to try this as soon as we can find a gadget that actually works to make it. We are afraid to try the pre-shreaded zucchini. We have tried 3 gadgets so far with no luck.

I just finished a ham, with fresh sliced home grown tomato, mayo, on a Jewish rye that had been toasted. Simple but so good with the glass of sweet iced tea. š Time to relight my pipe.

New to me receipe, Philippine Pork Adobo on Basmati rice, avacado bomb sauce on the side. The Adobo is equally sweet, sour and salty, the avacado bomb sauce has a nice kick.

the look of it makes my wife want to hurl. My wife's family has some Alsatian blood, and they make this stuff they call "Seer Sauce" - I have no idea how to spell it. I can't find it on Google anywhere. Anyway, it's this slop thickened with a flour slurry, potatoes, elbow noodles, lots of white vinegar and a HEAVY dose of cloves. It's just the absolute worst. I can't even look at it. It's legitimately GRAY (grey).

Tonight for dinner, I browned a pound of ground Angus and set aside. Then cut into chunks a zucchini, crook neck squash, a bunch of green onions, and a big tomato. SautƩed the vegetables with a bit of salt, pepper, and powdered garlic (same spices used on the Angus). Got the browned Angus back up to heat speed and placed the sautƩed vegetables in with the Angus to merry together, and plated for the wife and myself. Delicious dinner this evening! The boston Baked Beans finally finished for my granddaughters birthday tomorrow...10 hours of slow cooking, with maple syrup, Molasses, and a smidgen of rum...tasty! And they should be even better tomorrow. I agree Charlie. It's always better once the beans have had a chance to rest a day or so at the end of the cook. Looks delicious! Tonight's dish is good ol' spag bol... I tell you LL. I just want to toast a big hamburger bun and drop a ladle or two on top. What type of herbs are you floating on top?

I tell you LL. I just want to toast a big hamburger bun and drop a ladle or two on top. What type of herbs are you floating on top? They are just dried mixed herbs. I don't have the time or the money to be using fresh herbs. These do the trick, but you need a good tablespoon of it to taste anything.
