Pounded flat and thin round steak, cottage cheese and a salad. No creativity in the menu today just ram steak if you don't like it ram up your arse. That seems like a waste of perfectly good steak, but if it has to go up the arse, better to use a little A-1 or HP Sauce! I pound round steak and chuck steak as often as I can find them.

There is a really nice beef stew bubbling in the crock-pot. Beef, wine, bacon, ham, garlic, onions, taters, carrots, celery, neeps, home made beef stock, bay leaves. I wanted to add mushrooms but there is no room just now.
In the meantime, more of my home made beef vegetable soup and baked potatoes.

We should start a “What’s Eating You?” thread. 😁
That being quipped I’m eating a piece of whole grain toast with a quick homemade vegan “Nottella” spread made with fresh Iranian dates and raw cocoa powder.

Had to run north to Alamosa Colorado so lunch at Calvillo's Mexican Buffet. Red Chile Pork Enchilada, Green Chile Chicken Enchilada, Chile Relleno, Pork Tamale, Carnitas, Chicken something or other, mexican rice, refritos. Washed down with a single Cervesa Tecate.
Fortunately, I was not driving, so a snooze on the return trip of 60 miles.

Fajitas with jalapeno and poblano peppers cut into strips and charred. While poblanos are predictable jalapenos are not. And the last taco was hotter than seven kinds of hades. Kind of like eating General Tao's Chicken with those Thai black and red peppers you just never know. SOOOO GOOOOOOOD!
