I have a bottle of Penderyn in the liquor cabinet. It says "Madeira finish" and "Aur Cymru". Good stuff, but only 700 mL and a little pricey around these parts! It is a new brew to me but I am a fan now, my Welsh whisky with my Scotch, Irish & Bourbon , but I am a sipper of wee drams not a heavy drinker , an old bitter beer drinker taken to the spirits in my senior years, I enjoy the smoky Peated , That Try , Penderyn as a fine brew night cap with a slow evening smoke in the setting sun....here on the Irish sea....then again maybe I will mix some Laphroaig ,Jamersons & Penderyn , for a twilight triple wee dram, there is always a fine London gin after dinner. Then again all single malts are pricey, more than Penderyn , there is always Scotch blends for partying.

In my working man's city cottage by the Irish Sea this June Sunday, Thank God. It is becoming a Sunday lunch habit. With a Dash of Vermouth Rosso & Lemonade.

Especially the stag steak knife, complements my other Sheffield blades. TG.

Sunday lunch at home , microwave frozen roast chicken, a bachelors blessing a microwave, it is not Mum's home cooking, but like a fast beef burger compared to a farmers steak, I have been to busy to study domestic science and cookery, but given time it is not rocket science. I am more of the stoic school of dining than epicurean., but each to his own. Dublin Porter is my drink. Thank God for his bounty.

Last night we had a few friends for dinner, which has become a Friday night tradition it seems.
Did some Steak & Chicken kabobs on the grill and a tomato and cucumber salad on the side. Very few leftovers. Yuuuummm

Dinner this evening will be pasture raised beef cheeseburgers mixed with diced red onion and jalapeno peppers from the garden before grilling with a side salad of lettuce, cherry tomatoes and ranch dressing, also grown on this little plot of ground.

It started here at about 1:00 PM EST: And ended here about 5:30 PM EST: G'evening Sir, a fine effort, I was blessed with a plain pizza at the Vatican City one Easter, & in the spirit of the late " Lord" Tony Benn have favoured pizza & mug of char. But I have oats & pinhead oats to try & prepare oat flapjacks & meatloaf " haggis " for my sins & errors, but for peace & contentment I raise some Martini Rossi & lemonade to our American cousins gents in seasonal greetings. pax.

Tonight it will be homemade salsa from the garden, some blue corn tortilla chips, a little cheese and a nice pale ale. Followed up by a little Corallejo reposado and a pipe. I think maybe Magnum Opus in a large Alpha freehand.
