Smoked a bowl of well-aged Troost Special Cavendish in a Dunhill billiard with an oval shank. This blend is kind of like Amphora Brown, but burns hotter. The flavor is good, but you have to be careful not to get bit.

Poplar camp in the maddis 1/4 bent blasted tomato with a boxwood accent. Drinking black coffee and hoping that mr 3 stops eating before we run out of food. 3 eggs 2 sausage pancake stick things and a handful of cereal. He's a bottomless pit today but its a joy seeing him in such a good mood and happily hungry.

I bought a pouch of John Middleton- Cherry Blend out of nostalgia sake (It was the only pipe tobacco I smoked as a teen as it was all that was available at the local service station where I was able to purchase tobacco under the age of 18). Not sure how I tolerated it long as I did. It isn't any wonder that I gave up the pipe for so long before rediscovering the hobby in the age of the internet. If only they had had Carter Hall at said service station, imagine the pipe collection I'd have built by now. haha Alas, what a boring blend and if there is cherry to be tasted, it escaped me. So far John Middleton is two for three with me; CH and PA are both great.

Last night I was up an hour or so walking out leg cramps. So I woke up later than usual today. When I did, Fred the kitten was snoozing in the middle of my chest. It wasn't long till he awoke too, and figuring out I wasn't asleep, he began to play with my beard, and run and jump so I'd play with him. I'm currently puffing some Low Country Strawberry in the black, rusticated Blakemar Briars King's Imperial bulldog. Accompanied by a large mug of strong coffee. It's damp, cool and cloudy today. A good fall day for pipe smoking.

Irtt blenders bench red virginia in a falcon bantam with an apple bowl. Testing components for the club contest coming up next month. In line to try are decade series perique, acadia bright, and straight latakia. All solo and pretty much only partial bowls in this smallest bowl I own.

Watch City Justice Mixture in a No Name smooth, bent Dublin with a shouldered vulcanite stem. Tea, black, of course. Had to head into NYC to pick up something I bought for my hobby/second business. Had to drive by Yankee Stadium. That place will be jumping shortly. Hopefully for a few days.

After deciding to start my days with Five Brothers things are going smoothly. Taste buds setting up nicely. All the times I have tried Middleton Apple over 45 years the only apple I found was on the picture. That changed today. I had some in my Mr. Brog and actually tasted apple! Then it was onto Hickory Match. In a few minutes it will be Virginia Gold Black and Gold in my Ebeneezer Rhodesian That's all the news that's fit to print here, save I am in the middle of reading Archie Comics while listening to Jean Michel Jarre's Le Concerts in Chine Do I need to say that water is my drink? Since I am spoiling myself rotten today I am drinking it out of a clean container It's good to spoil yourself every now and then!
