I always smoke cigars when I am out for a long drive or I am on holiday. I refuse to fidget with pipes in the car; I am too likely to try to get some ash out with my pipe tool and cause an accident or something. Cigars are just easier. And cigars are just a natural for holidays. When I am out on my balcony, out on one of the islands in the South of Thailand, an Arturo Fuente is almost obligatory.

I'm an avid cigar guy. I smoke more of them in the spring & summer. They are particularly nice when getting together with friends and doing a little celebrating together. (I'm the guy who ends up supplying everyone's cigars, and that's fine.) Once the weather begins to cool, my cigar smoking drops off considerably. That said, I prefer pipes over cigars now.
