Because they make so many pipes in so many different lines, I was curious to know what your favorite Savinelli pipe is. My favorite is my 1970s full bend straight grain rough top Savinelli Autograph 6 sitter with a cumberland stem.

The Savinelli Luxor, slightly bent pot. Handles every flake I've put in it.

I don't own my "favorite" Savinelli yet,but my couple that I own are favorites. A 904KS unfinished with a swirled yellow acrylic stem, and a 1970 620 Classica blasted Oom Paul that was my grandfather's pipe. I'd like a couple of their really large pipes, a bulldog of some sort, and an EX Canadian, Lumberman, and lovats in that huge size. Eventually...

Well it was a Odna 111ks I paid $208 for it from SP and now they are $130 there. I thought it was great at the original price, so that won't change

I have had 2 Savs and both were junk...both of them smoked terrible and the bowls would fall off of the stems while smoking them...I dont think I will ever buy one again.

Wow ... that's the first report on Savinelli of that kind I've ever heard. Were these previously owned when you got them?

+1. No issues Mike but I've had good luck with Savs although most of mine are straights. Were your's bent?

Good looking pipes but only good for kindling if they don't smoke well. Interesting and cool beans you roll against the grain on this one.

Mark I loved the look of them and bought them at the same time at a B&M someplace in Arkansas at strip mall I was delivering freight at when I was trucking. I just know I am now very put off by Savs after buying these two.

My most favorite Savinelli shape is the 622 KS. A bent pot. It has a fairly large chamber, wide chamber which will accommodate pretty much all tobacco cuts.

When I want a guaranteed good smoke, I reach for my Savinelli Tortuga #673 bent Bulldog . . . . . . . . . . it has never let me down.

320 Trevi Rustic. Awesome shape and a superb smoker. I have had a couple of other Savinellis that were estates. Boths smoked well, but one was much too large for my tastes and the other was not my style. The 320 shape speaks to me. 321 as well.

It looks a little better than the smooth, but I picked the smooth because there are a lot of rustics. It's like I loved creamy peanut butter because I grew up with crunchy. Dad loved crunchy because there never was such a thing till he was in his forties (guessing). The Sav St Nicks are beautiful, but always seem one detail short of me wanting one. Looks like SPC is out of the 320 Trevi Rustic

Rossi Author was my first. Loved it from day one, so when I went for a Sav the Author was about my only choice, though I looked at Bent Doggie and Bent Pot.

320 is my favorite shape in Savs. Favorite pipe though is an old Sav de luxe smooth bent billiard I bought as part of a large lot to refurbish. It was caked so bad I had to use successively larger drills to drill out the cake enough to get a reamer in. Don't know how the previous owner ever smoked anything in there but he (she) did. A lot! The rim was so battered through the years, it looks like plateaux but it is not. Had a new green acrylic stem made for it and it is truly my favorite Sav. Smokes great!

I really like the looks of the Rossi Siracusa 320, but have held back, as at $80.00 it is at parity with some SAV's (the Venere series being on sale at 1/2off, as an example). The nagging doubt being that if the briar wasn't good enough to be a Savinelli, why pay Sav prices for a Rossi?

I really don't have a favorite but the one I smoke the most is a 314 KS. I do have to say though. Cobs are my favorite. Go figure.

Don't have that many, but my favorites are my rusticated Octavia straight billiard, and my Giubileo d'Oro 320. Oddly, I reach for the Octavia more often.

My favorite Savinelli that I own is the Spinosa 320ks. But I'd like to get a Miele someday, either the 626 or the 316ks. I had a Capri 602 for a while and I loved the look of it but it didn't smoke well for me.

I have six Savs. I smoke all of them. My two favs are both a new Trevi Smooth 320 and my Etienne Aigner Smooth Billiard. I say two since they are both only a couple weeks old in I need to do more “Research “.
