I have a few Sav's. All estates that I had the good fortune to refurb. My favorite is this one... My second fave is this one...

THIS is the pipe that hooked me on 904s!

This 320 Trevi. Very nice Don Thanks. It is a great smoker. Very cool. I just got some balsa filters to try in it for the fun of it.

I am a big fan of getting more than one or two of a pipe you love, so you can rotate without changing pipes.
My all time favorite of any brand is the Savinelli 320 EX. Smooth or rusticated. All the pipes I have that are not 320EX I had before I discovered them, or got for aromatic tobacco.
And the primary purpose of those other pipes is to remind me how much I love the 320 EX.

So what is the difference between the Savinelli, and the Savinelli-Rossi. I noticed that the Rossi-Lucca has a 320 EX. Much less expensive than a Savinelli, like a Tundra or a Hercules.
What am I missing.

I have 3 Savs. Marron Glace, Dolomiti and Oceano. I love the distinctive colours of the stems of the last two, and they are so comfortable to hold. Also they have larger capacity bowls.

I have taken to a second favorite shape, the Savinelli 626. Its a very comfortable shape to hand and teeth, and easy to "learn". So those are my two favorites, the 320EX and the 626. Kind of opposites I suppose, but both excel at the job at hand.

I don't have a lot of Savinellis ...yet, so these are my three favourites.
Linea Piu 5 La Mia Pipa S118A Punto Oro 614
I like that shape 904 very much; it reminds me of a couple of old Kriswills in my refurbishing box.

Out of those, the top 2 are my top 2.I'm not keen on that much of a bend that the bottom one has.
