My much belated pipe of the day, after sleeping much longer than is usual for me and after a correspondingly late bagel and Caribou coffee breakfast, is some Amphora Original in the Savinelli Bing's Favorite Smooth Brown. Happy First of December.

Now smoking Danny Kaye's Blend in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic stem. Watching Perry Mason. That will make you sing things like "The square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides"

Well, it's been 20 months since I have enjoyed one of my pipes. Had some lunch earlier, sat out on the patio, and enjoyed a starter bowl of McB Original Choice in a Swiss Alex Kapeller "Black Majesty" freehand. It's sooooooo nice to be able to relax and enjoy my pipes again. Have a great weekend folks, and most of all...enjoy your pipes.

I have some Sutliff Mixture 79 in a Kent sandblasted bent billiard with a 1/4" silver band. (Looks like a Dunhill Shell Briar 3102 but cost 1/13th as much. Made in England too.)

About to take this lovely-smelling Erik Peter's 1855 for a first date in a fresh cob. I received a nice fat sample bag from our very own PeteGuy. I salute your generosity, Sir.
I would also like to mention that I have been out of town at hunting camp and it was a pleasant surprise to log in and see some of you guys asking after me. It's good to be back and I am enjoying catching up on some of the posts I missed.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was okay. I had a couple buddies over and we got so drunk that I forgot to thaw the turkey. haha A frozen 20 lb turkey took roughly 10-11hrs of cook time. Still juicy though. The real trick is keeping it wrapped instead of basting and letting it rest for an hour or so prior to carving.
No luck at hunting camp. I made friends with a stray dog that followed me around for a bit, but that was all the action I got aside from plenty of beer drinking, pipe smoking, and feasting on unhealthy camp food. Those are the real reasons I go anyhow. Let some other guy drag a dead animal around in the woods.

Just finishing up the bowl of Lane's Medal of Valor in the no name bent billiard. This is really tasty, haven't had any latakia in many weeks, and this is the first time I'm actually smoking comfortably inside in months. Since I moved I can't smoke inside the apartment. It's terribly affecting my pipe smoking.

Boy oh boy, I took a nap and everyone smoked. Not sure what I am smoking next, though I set aside some Harold's Club VIP
Wrong tub, so it's Field & Stream in my Caramel Dolomiti Author. I have to go back and check if I smoked this pipe earlier. That's what a nap does to you

Happy December, all! This is my first post in God-only-knows how long...good to be back, scrolling through the posts. Enjoyed a bowl of 2015 C&D's Golden Days of Yore in a Savinelli Saint Nicholas Poker. Very pleasant smoke, with kind of a sugar-cookie note. Went well with hot chocolate! Hope all of you are well, healthy, and enjoying life.
