So... you're point is....? Not the latakia of teas? It could still be... depending on how one regards the virtues of latakia. Anyhoo, Sutliff Blue Danube reaches its place in the rotation launching pad, in the Savinelli Trevi 320 ks author shape. Countdown begins. Very nice Sav. 320 has to be one of their most popular offerings; however, I don't believe its ever been put forth as a Collection or POY? I totally dig these, have never pulled the trigger but may get weak next time the unfinished line is on sale. No, not that I know of, no POY selection or similar popular honors ever bestowed. Except of course for approaching cult-like status among certain smokers whom I know in a couple of FB groups. Anyhoo, Following breakfast, my first smoke this Thursday consists of the last portion left in the pack of Amphora Original. In the Charatan's Make Special 4420X billiard (1961-1965).

Good day from Greece, we have 8°C here in Athens and as the Meteo guys say we are going to have rain for few days. I bought some things from the market and now back home. I am smoking Black & Elegant Aromatic while sketching in a paper how i will modify my car's central console. The wife wants to know why no fresh flowers this morning.

Yeah, the other day no biscuit and today no flowers. I think sidstavros is sending an elaborately coded message!

I was smoking Skiff in the Dunhill during a very long home owners association meeting. [/quo0te] Is there ever a SHORT HOA meeting? Very true but this one was longer than usual. We're going over the yearly accounts and looking at the funds spent repairing our building after the earthquake. It really looks like a couple of people were either irresponsible or personaly took advantage of the situation. I don't want to think ill of people that will be my neighbors for x number of years but this time things were done so poorly that I'm even thinking of running to once again be part of the permanent committee.

I deduced the blend I picked up at my local brick and mortar is in fact HGL. The majority if not all of their Blends are from Lane Limited, so a delicious aromatic with a kiss of Latakia which BTW is my most pleasurable new to me Tobacco. Guess I'll have to see if I'm correct on my next smokingpipes order. Started the day with HGL in a Savinelli Giubileo D'Oro apple 2004 with a gallon of coffee, make that 2 gallons of coffee. Great day all!! Happy to read you are smoking the GDO 2004!

Classic Burley Kake in a Randy Wiley 55. French pressed Guatemalan coffee on the side. If you don't have a Wiley, you really need to add one to the top of your list.

I finished a bowl of D&R Two Timer in the MM Legend 5th Ave that I started last night before going to bed.
Now some Carter Hall in the MM Legend 5th Ave with a can of Canada Dry ginger ale .... which is a surprisingly good combo.

Some garbage baccy I found in the back of the cabinet, jarred in Dec 2015, label said Penzance and I think the stuff is defective because it’s covered in crystals. Smoking in a 1966 Dunhill Bruyere Billiard...eh it’s ok...

Ahh, finally time for a pipe and a post here today. A guy dragooned me into helping take his airplane apart in the flipping cold, so I'm really looking forward to this GBD full of G&H Balkan Mix, then dinner and another pipe.

Loading another cobful of Astley's 44... not wanting to let any cats out of the bag and inciting demand exceeding supply, let me advise right now that these flakes are horrible abominations... don't seek them out... hard to get anyway... 😈👻🤡
