Molto Dolce in a new MM County Gentleman. Tasted different, turned out to be a piece of paper stuck in the stem! Watching the pilot for "Then Came Bronson", followed by the first episode. It isn't often that something stands up to my memories. Pusser's rum with eggnog on the side. I used to watch that show. Always liked it, but haven't seen it since the 1970s. I'm curious to know how you like it after all these years. I think it has held up very well. He was a great actor. The only thing that I didn't notice when I was 19 was that they substituted a CZ for the Sportster in the hill climb scene and it was a HD 350 2-stroke on the beach. Good writing, too.

Continuing with Luxury Twist Flake, this time in a kaywoodie billiard. Once the holidays are over I'm taking a break from Twist Flake; it's kind of a dull blend to my palate.

Just walked into the house from playin poker with the boys over at the neighbors house. Dang is it cold outside!
Checked all the doors and the thermostats, found my way up to the mancave and am trying a blend I've had in the cellar for a while. It's Kendal Tobacco's Balkan Mixture, by Gawith, Hoggarth & co., in the old 62 Dunnie Bent Bulldog.

7 seas royal in a meer billard. Little brandy to keep warm. What brand of brandy do you drink, if you don't mind me asking? I drank Presidente by Pedro Domeque (sp.) for years, but it is no longer carried by our local liquor store.

Just about finished this bowl of Amphora Original(brown) in the Yorkshire bent billiard. I think this is a pipe ordered through Sears and Robuck years ago, but that's all I know about it. It is also well ghosted with a soapy taste. I have no idea what blend would impart that sort of flavor. Community coffee, neat is my drink.

My last bowl tonight is a deep one: Sugar Barrel in the capacious Radice Rubino Oom Paul. I think that this baby might be a Gp. 6, but what do I know. I have a couple of Radice pipes that are outside of any Dunhill ever thought of. 2 and 3 car garages if you ask me. When he puts a"G" for Giant on a pipe, you can believe it.

Back from church, had lunch, backwashed the pool filter, now on the patio enjoying the sunshine, and some Lane 1Q in a Jobey Extra Stromboli Rhodesian with a green Lucite stem. Have a great afternoon folks, and enjoy your pipes. P.S. Have a safe and enjoyable New Year.
