Just opened a tin of Red Eye by H&H and it was so beautiful, I felt I had to share some pics. I am pretty stoked about the fact that I have another ten tins of it set aside for deep-aging. That being said: I have never attempted the fold/stuff method. I may do just that now. These coins are so thick and the smell even got the pups curious. . .

Those coins are big and so well formed. Last time I bought coins about 20% of them were broken. So Linares won on decision, which was a fair result (to my mind) but it was closer the cards suggest. The main event tonight is a Thai fighter I've never seen before named Kiram vs. an Argentinian who's more tattoos than man. I saw Mathysse lose big a couple of years ago but I'm hapy he's pushing for a comeback...such bad tattoos (his kids' faces!? A map of Argentina !?!?! really?).

Hahaha Portrait tatts are always pretty bad. Just not my bag. And they're usually poorly done. The way I was raised... If I got a tattoo of a family member, they would just laugh when they saw it. Haha
I like the idea of the Argentina tatt though. I always wanted a keystone tatt- being from Pennsylvania (the keystone state). Such a quirky and unique place; from what I've seen anyway.
Red Eye in the La Rocca. Thick, rich, smooth. Good stuff. Lots if relights. Haha Really needs some towel time. Very moist. Also, I rubbed it out. These coins. You could play Frisbee with them they're so tight.

Yippi! What's FiOS? Blue Planet; Earth: The Sequel? Fios is the local carrier of fiber optic internet. Super fast, but expensive if you want a lot of channels. Blue Planet is in that Planet Earth series of nature documentaries- I've been obsessed with this stuff since I was a kid. There used to be a guy on tv in the 80s named Marty Stouffer and he had a show called Wild America- That man is to blame for said obsession. We enjoy The Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Nature series, too. Grew up watching Marlon Perkins in Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, and The Wild World of Animals, narrated by William Conrad. Where in Pennsylvania are you from? I'm originally from Altoona.

Lane Ltd. Amphora Original Blend in the Bewlay Straight Grain apple is my first Sunday smoke. I didn't know anything about Bewlays when I found this pipe, but it had me at Straight Grain. The 'gamble' paid off, as it's become my best smokers among many apple shapes.

Sitting on the south side of the garage enjoying the warm sunshine and this Julius Vesz circle 3 style 14 with a replacement stem made by the man himself. This sun is amazing for the soul today, and the coffee isnt bad either. I had a great end to the week, and it took a huge mental weight off my shoulders. Amazing how one piece of info can relieve so much. Its the end of january and its warm enough for the bugs to be out, mind you I'm not complaining just observing.
