This last bowl of hump day is becoming my first Thursday smoke. The enigmatically good Amphora Original in the Nording Extra apple.

Thanks for the welcome back, Mark and David. All is as well as can be.
Get well soon Jim!! Got laid low by a stomach bug for three days over Christmas, so I feel your pain.
Smoking day started with Reiner Long Golden Flake in a Stanwell Deluxe 126. Coffee x 2.

First smoke of the day is flake scraps in a MM Legend. This broken tooth stump is hurting a bit this morning. I can't wait to get it out, but dentists always treat me like some kind of junkie.

9F and sunny. 11th consecutive day below freezing. Beginning to believe the wood pile may not make it through winter, might may have to procure some this year. First smoke is 2012 Sam Gawith Full Virginia Flake in a 1/4 bent Bronze Velvet GBD 549 bulldog, drinking hot black coffee and listening to local talking heads on the CC Crane Radio II. Two mile walk with the cattle dog and cleaning out the wood burning stove the orders of the day.

Morning all.
Back to the regular grind... hate to say. Getting hit with some snow this morning, but the wind is really the issue. Blowing the shite all over the place. Things closed everywhere, Dr. appt cancelled. Bunch of panty waists here in Philly.
Working through a bowl of SWRA/Dark Burley, watching the snow fall.

Watch "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" with William Shatner and smoking a bowl of McClelland's CH Cheer 2015 in a small Poul Hansen 1/4 bent Dublin. The tongue bite is off the charts with this combination. Obviously not the right pipe for this blend. Regardless, it is going back to the dark closet for another couple of years. French pressed Guatemalan coffee on the side.

Part way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Lemon-Lime Gatorade is my drink. Ate for the first time in three days, and am finally starting to feel better.

Good evening from Greece, we had light rain in the morning but now everything is quiet with 10°C outside. The previous photo Calabash and the above Canadian were my Christmas acquisitions. Captain Black White.
