I posted this a year ago, but there are a lot more people here now who will probably enjoy this story. It nearly got me censored
So, I'm in a mood today. Hubby comes in a little bit ago, he's been going through old, forgotten files on his computer and asks if I want some Viking Balls. (I should tell you our last name is Knorr, and hubby has blue eyes and has had blonde hair most of his life) I look at him and say, "I thought I already had some Viking Balls." He chuckles and says, "What I meant was would you want to make some Viking Balls." I look at him again and raise my eyebrow and say, "I thought we already made some." (We have a son.) He sighs with exasperation and explains, "These are evidently a pastry." I then tell him that if the recipe doesn't call for mead, then it is NOT a Viking pastry. He went back to his computer, lol.

I've been on a major soup thing lately, so you might call it SAD, We've got cases of soups here. I know it might surprise Lady Margaret and a few of you, but I can be a little obsessive now and then.

Lady Margie....
If your son rolls his eyes, do it even more. Funny, is always funny.
As I was growing up, I had an aunt that who always joked and carried on, She was hilarious....especially at bridal showers, I was told. We all peed laughing at some of her sassy, often bawdy, antics, and "adult joking". Too funny, all harmless, all memorable. When ever she showed up at a family wedding or barbecue, we knew the party was about to start.
We all need a sense-of-humor, to survive in this world.
Glad I decided to read about your Viking Balls.
