I was contacted by Mark's son today and he informed me that Mark passed away recently in a car accident. I'm shocked and saddened.

I have known Mark for many years and several forums ago. He was a generous member of our community, one of the first members on this forum as well as a moderator. He will be sorely missed.

His son is trying to tie up any loose ends that Mark had related to swaps/sales and trades. I suspect in the coming days and weeks he will post here with any information that he is trying to obtain. Let's do our best to help him out.

I'm sorry to see it end. There were some good discussions among the members, and although I posted there little I always included it in my daily reading of the pipe boards.

I've always thought of forum communications as being delicate. Mixing a wide spread of personalities involved in discussions without the benefit of face to face inflection calls for careful choices of words. This forum seems to have gotten around that problem.

He certainly practiced that.
