For my birthday I am starting out with some " Very Vintage" Edgeworth Sliced in a hand made cherry wood pipe. Raspberry Ice Crystal Light is my drink. Have a great Birthday! |

This is one of the reasons I post more when I can. Make it like a discussion. Someone said (not here) that pipe smoking is not compatible with discussion. I called BS on that. It's is about thought, but what good is thought without discussion. I'm not disagreeing with you, but it seems to me a Wrestling thread would be more interesting, focused and get more responses from more members. That sounds like fun to me. Maybe somebody will even post an ol' Haystack Calhoun video!  Now smoking Robert McConnell Scottish Flake in a 1970's medium bend big bowl rusticated Sienna colored Savinelli Estella with a pearl grey stem. This will take a while to smoke. I could understand leaving this thread video free. Often, mentioning something here leads to another thread being started. But how would we know it unless someone posted what they were doing while they were smoking. To me (aside from videos), wrestling is no different than mentioning what you are watching or listening to while you're smoking. Which is worse: 1) I am watching wrestling while smoking? 2) I am watching (insert tv or radio show) while smoking? The second option is brought up all the time here. |

Mark, I am truly not sure where you are going with this. This is not said with anyone in particular in mind, so please do not take it that way, nor anyone else. The problem is that when you get past the initial smoke only rule (if there were such a thing) then who draws the line between personal and out of line? Beyond the mods, who have total say so, there is no cabal nor secret police. Then you are left with someone pointing to someone saying "that's out of line". To me, that is more hurtful than people having to scan past a personal note. Frankly, I get quite hurt when that happens to me. Often I see a post like that and it seems to be singling out someone. If it is me I do take offense when I see that some get by with what others get called on. Frankly, after we get done with this "hours left" thread I will not be posing in WAYs anymore. |

I just finished a bowl of McClelland Blackwoods Flake in a Don Warren Freehand sitter with a plateau rim and butterscotch acrylic stem. I was reading ''American Tabloid' by James Ellroy.
I was going to post a video but now I'm not sure. It's an hour+ long, and it captures me smoking and reading.
