I could not finish Savinelli Armonia and was baffled that Savinelli could sanction such a blend bearing their brand. Runner up would be Sutliff Apple blend. A shameless marketing ploy to capitalize on Middleton Apple and steal sales from them.

The Cube. I made the mistake of sampling a bowl at a pipe show, it made me sick and ruined my day.

I just remembered one that I had put out of my mind. The Heights by The Houston Pipe Club. This stuff was nasty in every way I can think of. But the worst part for me is that it was named after the neighborhood where I was born. The men back in the day smoked SWR and Prince Albert, not the expensive fancy smancy tobaccos like we do today. In fact I might go down to the dominoes table by the old water tank and smoke a bowl on the bench under the tree next week.

Hearth and Home Cerberus. It is just too much spice for me. I guess I don't like that much Latakia. I struggled through the whole tin, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Two immediately come to mind.
1. A big bag of 4 Aces that I received as a gift 1.5 years ago when I got back into piping. Ended up throwing it out.
2. Haunted Bookshop. Almost as bad as 4 Aces, to me anyway, traded it off for Frog Morton. The gentleman I traded it off to loved HBS, I love FM. All's well that ends well.
Both of the above tasted like smoking a floor mat, harsh and no redeeming values.

Easy. Penzance. Absolutely detest it. I'm fussy about English blends, like very few, and this one just doesn't work for me. Another is Germain's version of Balkan Sobranie. A couple of months ago I opened a tin that was 5 years old, hoping that it had improved. I couldn't finish a single bowl of it. Rather than toss the tin in the garbage I gave it away to several members on the PM forum. The Germain's reboot resembles the Balkan Sobrainie I used to smoke about as much as I resemble a Speedo model. About the only good thing that will come from the FDA Rule will be the end of that awful blend.

I tried the Penzance in a dozen different pipes and was about to give up before I decided to try it one more time in a Ben Wade London pot. This time I was transcendent.

My least favorite tobacco experience was with Samuel Gawith Firedance Flake. I read the tin description, read some reviews and it sounded pretty tasty. I was kind of shocked at the flavor. I smoked it for a few minutes not really sure what I was tasting. I tried to think of something it tasted like and the only thing I could come up with, was it tasted like I puked in my mouth. Seriously that was the only thing I could come up with. Needless to say I gave the tin away to someone who likes the stuff.

I find C&D burley blends (e.g., Haunted Bookshop) harsh and unpleasant, so I feel ya. Myself, C&D Captain Bob's Blend. Wow.

Not sure if any one blend stands out as worst for me. I did not like SWR regular at all. Too much like a cigarette for me. I think it is decent quality stuff, but not for me. I do like SWRA quite a bit. C&D Golden Days of Yore was the flattest, most bland and forgettable tobacco I have had in recent memory. A friend and I both had the same general impressions of that one.

I took a punt once, and bought a pouch of an online retailer's blend which was supposed to be like Squadron Leader. It was one of my first blends and I didn't know what latakia was, but boys-a-dear it was rank. It went straight into the food waste.
That said, I agree that we all have different tastes - it makes the world go round - but I'd like to revisit some of the first tobaccos I tried and didn't like, now that I've found my rhythm in pipe smoking. I might surprise myself. In fact, I think I would like some of the ones I originally hated.
I never liked red wine, but I stuck with it and I love it...and my blood-cholesterol-level thanks me for it.

About 30 years ago I tried Borkum Riff Whisky. It was vile.

I won't smoke grape tobacco. The first sample of Captain Bob's Blend I got was in a baggie and I didn't smell any grape, so I smoked it and loved it! Didn't detect any grape at all. I posted that I was smoking CBB on WAYS one day and someone called me on it (knowing I don't like grape) and I was confused because mine didn't have any grape! I ordered some more, and evidently this was fresher because I did detect a hint of grape in the smell, but I knew I liked this blend so I smoked it anyway. At the very beginning there was just a tiny bit of grape, but quickly went away. SO, I would suggest you let it sit out a bit and then give it a try.

My friend mixed clove with Prince Albert. That was pretty terrible. Marking that off my list of things to try. I do note a few tobaccos use Allspice
