...I've PM'd an apology to ronv69 for whatever I said that offended him. I hope this lays the issue to rest. Not your fault - Dude owes you a solid to say the least. I appreciate that Mark, and you have my thanks, but I don't wish to vilify ronv69. Who among us has not "lost their head" at one time or another. I am fond of everyone here, I enjoy myself, and don't wish to spoil it over some trivial matter.

Me, either. As I wrote to Ron earlier, the meaning and emotional resonance the Alamo has for some Texans is totally lost on people from the rest of the country. Which of course doesn't justify threats.... This is very true. It's why (unless I am not thinking, which does happen) I do not try to take one's heritage away from them. I was born on Stonewall Jackson's Birthday and the day Louis XVIII lost his head. As to Stonewall, I admire him. I make no bones about loving someone with that strong of faith. I understand Ron's feelings about The Alamo. Can I not love both sides in a fight? If I see my two brothers fighting I may think one is more right, but I love them both Damn, that was Louis XVI . I must have lost my head for a moment... oops
