Thanks for the well wishes. The top Doc cleared me for any activity other than water skiing and bungee jumping. She wants me to have another lab test and a better MRI. Mostly just going to keep an eye on me.

Getting ready to head out for a 2 hour drive to do a P/M today. It's a truck stop with a lot of refrigeration and a massive ice machine that hasn't been cleaned in years. It's going to be a long day.
I had to go to Urgent Care last night. My asthma and allergies have been so bad I was almost in panic mode. This has been the worst season I can remember. They planted wheat this year in the adjacent fields, and it's budding. I suspect that may be the culprit. Either way, I'm on the couch, miserable, on steroids and other meds. The asthma is a little bit better, but not great. The cough and stuffy nose are extremely annoying. I've got the biggest weekend of the year coming up, and I hope this passes by then. Prayers are welcome.
Prayers for relief from your allergies, Jason. Hope you feel better soon.

Glad to hear that your appointment with the new doc went well, Ron.

The local news restaurant report has long had a theme song, "Slime in the Ice Machine". A few years ago they added pictures, but people complained. Have a nice day! 😨😁🤠

Off this morning to talk to Diet Dr about Low Carb Diet. Wife is moving slowly, she wants to go with me, she cooks for me, she’s smarter than me , reads the labels at the store, I’m a lucky man. Hope everyone is feeling better today.

Good news, indeed! Thank you for letting us know.

Snow overnight. Not as bad as what people in OK are going through. Thoughts and prayers.
How long has it been since you had this much precipitation? Seems like a long time.
About three years, I guess. I recall sandbagging around houses during Spring flooding. Late Spring snow is not all that rare. We have had snow on Memorial Day weekend.

Brad is going to find out about rabbit food or how the hell do you boudin with lettuce. The short version if it white you cant have it is a fun game where the only food you can have is green.

Feeling a bit better today. Asthma isn't as bad. Still coughing periodically. Managed a small pipe of Dark Bird's Eye last night, and another small stoved Red Ribbon just before. Tired, though, and meds are affecting my appetite - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Praying I'm 100% by Thursday. But I'll take 90% if God's willing.

I survived the P/M. I had to dump 2000 lbs of ice because of the mold and bacteria in it. It was one of the worst ones I ever saw. After getting all the goo removed and scrubbed out I used about 1/2 a gallon of bleach to sanitize it. The guy I have been working with that manages the truckstop just took it over in November and I think we have a plan in place to keep things maintained and clean.

Hot, hot, HOT! After being up and down a 32' ladder all day, I was exhausted. Came home, showered and crashed again. I just woke up from another ~2 hour nap.
Waiting on it to cool down some before I even bother with a pipe.

Congratulations! I don't envy you but at least you are doing valuable work. A refrigeration specialist is revered in Texas.

I had to watch the fat plumber trying to crawl under the house to scope out the cat situation, then I watched the dog walk around the yard. The baby armadillos paid no attention when I pulled their tails, even following me back to the house. I figured it was enough for one day so I ate a pineapple Popsicle to cool off. Not really the same, is it? 🤠

Mine's been acting up the last couple of years. I used to only take Singulair about 2 or 3 times a year, but I have been taking it every day for the last few months. It seems like I have to live with stopped up ears during the allergy season.

Your day sounds better than mine. Especially with a pineapple popsicle!
I've never really understood why most plumbers are overweight fellas. If I had crap on my hands most of the day, I would hardly eat. Also, they have to get in small spaces all the time. It's just something I've never been able to figure out, and I've been in construction/remodeling for 15+ years.

Yeah, my day sounds better, until you throw it that I am 68.67 years old. 😁😕🤠

Thanks for all the prayers and wishes everyone!
Update: While I was at home with the baby (who is doing really great btw) my wife was at the hospital getting very indefinite and vague answers to her questions and mine. She was not allowed to see her scans when she requested them. The surgeon was pushing surgery on a young woman with no major threat to her health and no previous problem. In addition, this surgery would have set her up for more surgeries of the same kind for the rest of her life. Guy was down playing the procedure saying “it’s just surgery, I’ll make a small incision,” ended up he wanted to cut 10 inches from belly button up, sort through her intestines and staple her back up for something he couldn’t pinpoint or define as anything particular. WTF?? Why would you do this, as well as not explain the procedure fully and provide good reason?
So when her mom came into town to help us they ended up checking her out of the hospital. Upon reading the records, even without looking at the scans, there was no mention of a need for surgery. There were also notes of improved conditions as the reports went on. He was still pushing this surgery. F’ing animals! Not to mention the nurses were so inept, they failed at putting the tube down her nose several times and couldn’t answer basic questions. I guess because of these, what we considered basic questions, they asked if she worked in the medical field, which she doesn’t. Wow! They should feel ashamed of their incompetence! 😶😡
Her condition is tolerable enough to go get another opinion which will happen tomorrow. She is in good spirits and is keeping more down, we are hoping this worked itself out but still going for another opinion. It will be the the fourth! Two of which wanted to put her on anti nausea meds for chemo patients with a ton of side effects. All knowing she’s breastfeeding! Needless to say, It’s been a very trying couple of weeks for us both! 😞😴😒 as if having a newborn isn’t enough to be concerned with.
Bless the patch, and be well! Hope we get this figured out soon.
Ever puffing slow A piper feels it flowing Quiet, thought, patience
Reading this page makes me thankful for all I have and don't have...prayers for those that need them, good luck for those who think that will work...I'm just gonna pray for all those in inclement conditions and hope their life gets better.
Ken, cleaning and sanitizing was the first rule of order when I took over a restaurant to manage...the filth you find in a kitchen is scary at best and the crud and bacteria hiding in an ice maker is enough to swear off eating out for ever.
@low and Slow.............I hope and Pray that your wife gets the “ right “ doctor that actually has compassion and schedules a consultation with a few specialists. Both you and your wife has been in my thoughts and Prayers.
Try and relax when possible and enjoy a pipe, will definitely help with your stress level.
