Here is a warning sign from Caddo lake. You will have an open invitation to visit 😎🤠You ever thought about how to get rid of that troublesome leg without paying for a surgeon?

I planned on robbing a bank and letting club fed pay for it. Let me think about the alligator option my luck I would live and get malaria from the swamp skeeters.

That's a really beautiful place. I am happy to say that my sister in law lives in the dirty, crime ridden part of Connecticut. I hope that it doesn't bother you too much that we are gleeful when a blizzard hits Hartford. Nothing personal. (to you) I live on Delmarva and we only see see a dusting of snow.

Was up at 4:00am with the leg and watched my new neighbors coming in. What a bunch of losers stacking boards for a porch for like the tenth time. I think they are tweakers, well I kind of know they are after watching them in action. They wont be here long before they cant pay the space rent or get thrown out after the cops visit. They have their power hooked up via adapters and wally worlds cheapest extension cord. That baby should fissile like a firecracker fuse all the way back to the main breakers the first time the AC and microwave are going at the same time. What me worry I am on a different branch. Nothing for me to do but oil my guns and wait it out. Should not be to long before the new park owners serve their first eviction notice. The older couple on the other side moved out yesterday cant wait to see what backs into that spot. The leg looks better no more red and on the last few days of Bactrim. So thirty days of antibiotics and a dozen drips later there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. Still hurts because of sores leftover but they are nice and pink and healing. Going next week to a trusted wound doctor so he can have look to make sure. I need some cortisone shots anyway. Such is life when you are held together with a deluxe erector set and bailing wire. Everybody have a nice day. Glad to hear that things are getting better.

I find it amazing that we have almost no knowledge of the geography of the North East. I had never heard of Delmarva. If I was young and wealthy enough to sail I would be looking for a place on the southern tip in Virginia. Can't abide the infringement of my rights in Maryland.

It's so hot here today I looked at Phoenix on the weather app. At the moment it is 95 and feels like 95 in SE Texas, while it's 109 and feels like 114 in Phoenix. I just can't think about it feeling 19 degrees hotter.

But its a dry heat. That means the sweat evaporates instead of collecting at your scrotum sack. Thanks for the kind words everyone it makes healing up easier and soon I will be back to just abnormal.

"Dry Heat?" Bull! Phoenix is way more humid than when I used to visit my great aunt and uncle back in the 1950s and 1960s. Too many lawns, swimming pools, trees and other plants. Why it is practically muggy there now.

If Nevada had not traded all their Colorado river rights for a bottle of rot gut and some shiny beads Phoenix would be drier than a popcorn fart.

I have 3 paid days to burn off paid time off for work, prior to my anniversary at work, so I am off work for the week. My hazmat certification expires on the 19th.... my CDL expires on November 02 and a normal person can renew their drivers license up to 6 months prior with no problem, so I went to the MVD with the intent of doing both, and I wanted to add the travel endorsement for flying commercial (required Oct. 2020)... My fingerprints are on file with the state going back for 15 years with DHS federally and is my birth certificate and Social Security #, my prints also with the state for concealed carry. I went in today and was told that I would do well to just do the travel endorsement and hazmat and hold off on updating my license for travel, otherwise I would have to re-do the hazmat when my license expires 11/19. The travel endorsement is considered a new credential federally.... I have hauled everything from machine guns/ Naval weapons to 2000 pound pallets of Oxy Contin, but the hoops need to be jumped through regardless..so I spent 4 hours at the MVD to prove that I am not a shady character..... So I get to deal with the bureaucracy twice more in the next two months....to be fair, the people I dealt with were very nice, I just think the system stinks.

That said, I'm sure you'd take our 9 degrees than your 114f (and yes, I'm mixing my units).

A nice t-shirt and shorts 73/23 in the swamp but who am I kidding I would wear t-shirt and shorts in 50/9 weather. The coffee tastes extra good this morning for some reason. Have to go to hardware store in a little while and get a replacement water heater pressure relief valve as mine looks like a chia pet. Putting together a little potato computer for the kid up the hill with old stuff so he can do school work. Have a great day everyone.

The sun is shining but it's still cold. I haven't had a pipe in ages, but I'm out all day so I won't get one today either.
While I love the autumn and winter, I hate the fact that my pipes hibernate.
Anyway... I've 2 interviews next week. Change may come quickly for us.

Outdoor construction, etc. 35C would have people dropping dead in Ireland.

Sorry you have to go through all that crap, Charlie...as Ron so aptly stated "bureaucracy is a life form similar to slime mold." Very true, as I used to be part of it, back when I used to have to work for the State. Sean, you are a riot..."held together with a deluxe erector set and bailing wire"...us old folks recognize that scenario, while I don't have as much hardware as you probably do, I know the feeling. I've got a bunch of failed bone matrix crap floating around in my back, just waiting to paralyze me at some point...Dr. scared of taking it out, but not as scared as me...I'm staying out of hospitals unless I am having a near death experience.
Day here in central north Florida is sunny and bright with little wind from the now passed storm...still hot as all get out, but that is what A/C is for. Waiting for a few days before going to stock up on all the stuff people ran and got before the storm...shelves are still empty. Eyeing two more storms out there in the Atlantic...just what Puerto Rico and the Bahamas needs...another storm to finish off what little is left of the islands.

Confronted with that bureaucratic wall, I'd say trailboss showed admirable restraint in that post. Wonder if this impending DMV adventure accounted for his stocking up on Wild Turkey!

I got a Flu shot today. I've gotten one every year for several years now..So far I haven't had the Flu..Maybe it's just luck..I don't know. I just feel a little safer with the shot and insurance pays for it.

I've missed more time at work in the last 2 weeks than I have in the last 5 years combined. It's not sitting well with me today and has me in an extremely screwed up mood.
