We had our Sleep Number bed for 14 years and it was getting worn, the adjustable frame was falling apart and the air controller was unreadable. We looked at every kind of mattress, tried on the new Select Comfort and ended up buying from an internet site. "Personal Comfort" seems to be the same as the Sleep Number, but it's a little heavier material and it was $1000 less. We are satisfied.

Just talked to the soon to be boss again and told him I'd be ready to start on the 7th. He said hes happy to hear it and cant wait. Soon to be old boss has called 4 times today, I haven't answered. This current pipe is burning perfectly and the flavor is perfect with my coffee. Temp is nice. Not a "stars align" pipe, but pretty close. The guy diagonally across the street just threw a football to the guy beside me (across the road) ... it went right through his front window. Good job fellas. I'll sit here and enjoy my pipe while you drunken idiots (them) figure out what just happened  It’s amazing what great ideas people come up with after several drinks. |

Got the call on Friday, meeting with the CEO and COO of the new company I’ve been speaking to about a possible position.Wednesday I’m headed into NYC for the final meeting/interview. Nice thing is I’m in a position where I don’t need the job but if it comes through, could be a game changer. Salary is nearly 2.5 times higher than my current one and I will essentially “own” the P&L and be responsible for all the decisions of the business unit.

I just got home from the office! It was the monthly birthday luncheon. New people wondering why the old people were hugging the strange old man. Chicken Alfredo and lasagna, beautiful salad and Italian cream cake cupcakes. I couldn't even eat a little of each thing. Company is booming and 2 more of my coworkers are retiring at the end of the year.
