Tomorrow is the big day for me. Taking two services in the morning in the two churches and then out for birthday lunch somewhere, before sitting in a darkened room for about 30 hours waiting for the phone-call.

Sit back, light a pipe and let it go. What will be will be. You have already done the hard part. 😀

He will place you where your heart desires and where those whom you minister to will appreciate what He has given them. If Oldcajun garrontes it, it will be so! You have my prayers and good wishes added to those above me.

Celebrated Saturday by putting up a 20 x10 canopy to keep stuff out of the weather while I finish the inside of the shop. Getting too old blah blah blah. Put up tied down, reinforced and checked.

Andre... no matter what happens, it will most likely be the right thing for you and your family. Sometimes what we want isn't the right place for us at that time. Not being negative... pretty sure you'll get what you're hoping for... still saying little prayers for you, pal.

Just talked to the soon to be boss again and told him I'd be ready to start on the 7th. He said hes happy to hear it and cant wait. Soon to be old boss has called 4 times today, I haven't answered. This current pipe is burning perfectly and the flavor is perfect with my coffee. Temp is nice. Not a "stars align" pipe, but pretty close. The guy diagonally across the street just threw a football to the guy beside me (across the road) ... it went right through his front window. Good job fellas. I'll sit here and enjoy my pipe while you drunken idiots (them) figure out what just happened

New Tv today ended up with a LG 7300 as I needed blu tooth for miracast and optical for Sherwood if I want to do surround. 276 channels over antenna and the web. This could be the cheapest Tv I have ever purchased at 430.00 out the door. Its ability to upscale to 4k is amazing . Updates next week when I figure out to change the channel.

Just sprayed some plastic seal on the underside of one of the bad vents until the new ones arrive. Spraying overhead that stuff drips everywhere at least I wont need to comb my hair for awhile.

Just moved three beds. My daughter's full went to my son, as his "big boy bed". Ours went to my daughter. The guest room bed (sleep number, best bed in the house) went to us. My daughter just about had a breakdown over losing her bed to her brother. Cried and cried, for a good hour, and almost made herself sick. She doesn't do well with change (I wonder where she gets that...). I finally told her we could get some pink ribbon, swirl it around the headboard, and put a big bow at the top - like a princess bed. She stopped crying IMMEDIATELY, and went into manic mode, exclaiming how she couldn't wait to sleep in her new bed. Kids, man...

We're looking at the Sleep Number beds right now … any suggestions?

Ours is a dual, flat. No Craftmatic adjustability feature. I haven't slept on it yet, since it's been in the guest room, and I haven't been bad enough to be banished there. I'll let you know tomorrow how my night's sleep was. I've laid on it, and it IS very comfortable. Apparently, my FiL likes sleeping on a rock, and it serves that purpose, while my MiL likes more of a deflated marshmallow, which it also delivers.

When I remortgaged my house I got some extra to invest in a good mattress. Was money well spent. If you've some pink ribbon left over, you can use some for your bed too, Cramptholomew. 😉

Simmons what they call Black now memory foam with cooling gel much better than the Tempur pedic sweat sponge it replaced. Worst mattress ever was a Kings Down and it as darn expensive mistake. Sister has Chatham and Wells best conventional mattress you can sleep on. Tried the Sleep Number just could not do it but they stood behind the 100 day return policy.

High winds and dry heat in Northern Cal. Fire season is here. PG&E has notified customers it may shut power off if winds are too high. They don't want another 'Campfire' fire like they had last year. Can't say as I blame them. They don't want another Campfire, already in bankruptcy because of that one. I hope you guys get away without any incident this year. Thanks, Paddy. We've all got our fingers crossed.

Thank you all for the encouragement, wisdom, and support. Fine group of folks here. I'm taking the other job and I have put no thought into staying at my current one. I think you know when you're making the right choice. Good luck.

Legend Lover, you have a tropical system heading your way next week. It will probably only be rain by the time it gets to you.

I had good luck with a Beautyrest King. It was thoroughly tested and endorsed by Chester.
