Back from the dentist, short 900 bucks. 😢😒 OUCH! Congratulations on the anniversary. And all this time I thought you were the old hand! Wife says that the mantis can be any color, but it can't hurt you unless it spits tobacco tobacco in your eyes, so if it gets close to your face open your mouth. 😁🤠 |

Back from the dentist, short 900 bucks. 😢😒 Again, OUCH. Thankfully my root canal treatment shouldn't cost anywhere near that. Although it will cost me around £200 of money I almost don't have...so either way - for you and for me, the sentiments are the same. I shudder to think what the cost would be if I went private. |

I don't have any jobs for today so I'll run my daughter to work then stop at a customers for breakfast head home and try to get the garage cleaned up some then pick my daughter up from work and head to Pittsburgh for a pipe club meeting.

I'm sure if you showed her some, your life would be spared... That went through my mind as we packed. Good news is I'm still alive. The tub I bought for my tobacco and pipes wasn't big enough. It fit the tobacco well, but I've a plastic bag of pipes to find a place for in the new house. |

Voted on the Hall of Fame page for Pat.
Someone else who should be in there is Tina Marie. She never received the wide recognition she deserved, IMO. Although she was more of an "Ivory Soul" performer.

Got the call on Friday, meeting with the CEO and COO of the new company I’ve been speaking to about a possible position.Wednesday I’m headed into NYC for the final meeting/interview. Nice thing is I’m in a position where I don’t need the job but if it comes through, could be a game changer. Salary is nearly 2.5 times higher than my current one and I will essentially “own” the P&L and be responsible for all the decisions of the business unit. Got the call tonight, the CEO decided against both candidates in the hunt (I am one). Apparently there is some tension of pressure between the Board the the C-Suite but I’m not sure if that’s the reason. Nonetheless, I am a little disappointed but I do have a very good paying job currently with benefits so I won’t starve. Probably better off that I don’t make a move anyway with there being some sort of clash towards the top of the organization as that’s where I would’ve been sitting. |

Always best to stay out of the firing line...been there and done that, and regretted it later. Whenever there is tension like that, it is best to stay out of that fight. |

well, i had a relaxing day planned and my mother came over and ruined it -- she needs to go to the store for ONE item. i'm going to have to start asking her if there is anything she needs before we leave for karate, we could have picked it up for her last night on the way home. ugh!

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary since I first met my wife. We have no kids tonight so I’m taking her to a place brand new to us in Orange County Ny. Said to be the best eating spot in the county according to over 250 reviews. I’m looking forward to it as is she
