Mid 30s, dark, drippy and windy.
Great day to stay inside by the wood stove.

Sunny, nippy, watched Son put a few boards on old deck, gave him a few tips, smoked a Montecristo Platium while supervising.

70 in the swamp perfect day a little cold last night got up at 3am and turned on the electric heater. The Honeywell HCE840B proven its itself, it is safe, quiet and sips power like a miser. Rolled roast prepared and waiting for later to cook. Enjoying watching the dog hating idiot next door with a pot shovel trying to level blocks for his rig. I could offer my shovel but alas he hates dogs. You cant keep a giant fifth level unless it is parked on concrete. Regular dirt and gravel swell and buckle after every rain or lack of. Then when it does rain big time you better tilt it so the water runs off the slide outs. Looked at cars this morning and did not find any good deals.

Sorry to hear about your mum, Lady Margaret. We're back in the hospital too. Youngest had fever again through the night and so we're back in. Might be admitted this time. There's always something.

Best wishes for all the folks needing medical attention during this Christmas season. Thanks, Sean. That is thoughtful of you to think of that. I share those wishes for my friends who are sick or in pain or both. Not what should be.

My thoughts to those who are also going through pain, illness or suffering, and to those who are watching their loved-ones go through it.
Naomi was admitted with pneumonia and suspected flu. Hopefully she'll be fixed soon. I sincerely thank God for the NHS.

You need to take it easy, Ron...ain't gettin any younger, buddy! Right! What are you trying to prove? That I ain't worthless, that I'm still a man. That I can do stuff that needs to be done. Or not anything at all except for trying to have a normal day.

If it needs to get done, you will do it. Don't sweat the small stuff. You got a right to be picky about what you do.

got back about an hour ago. been a very long, frustrating day. originally she was supposed to go in for surgery at 8am but they had to restock the OR because a lot of surgeries were done overnight. long story short her surgery ended up being at 6pm. she was brought back at 10pm. have to go back tomorrow to learn about therapy. she had a partial replacement.

spent the last two days in bed. sure wish this would all end very soon, but I'll likely live to be 100 as that's the way life works in this insane asylum.

Christmas Decorations are going up today..We're having a bunch of neighbors in Saturday for a party with food and exchanging small gifts..We don't spend a ton of money for Christmas but we enjoy it a lot.

A prayer is sent out to all members an they're loved ones. Been a bad couple months for a lot of us. Thanks. It seems like every holiday season is like this. I guess that's why we have the celebrations and feasting, to take our minds off of the darkness. Wife's having trouble getting a death certificate for her brother, and the crematorium won't release the ashes for some reason. I'm having to deal with the insurance company and the lawyers every couple of days. It's not feeling much like Christmas again this year.

I am sure this something for which closure would be welcome. Been done that path numerous times over the years. No signs of Christmas in these parts. The community does some Christmas things with certain people. outsiders not members of the cattle cooperative nor the local church are not included.

Glad she got her surgery. That therapy is important and she will likely need your help for a while. The plan, as I understand it, is to get the patient up and out of the hospital ASAP to avoid complicating infections, bedsores, respiratory problems. So, they really push the patients to get moving. Seems hard at the time.

Sent the park manager a picture of not my dog in my space, My dog is not named Trump so you cant just make up crap to give me crap. I could even rename Roxie to Trumpy and she would still be innocent. Moral to the story is don't mess with a grumpy sickly man and his sidekick and no I did not get snarky when I sent the text. But I should have. Roxie is the real winner this holiday season a new bed and a Minnie Mouse blanket because unlike me she is good little girl.
