you have no idea how difficult it is to remain silent on the subjects of religion and christmas, but I'm going to be a good boy this year and not get banned from the forum.

My wife got a letter from her psychiatrist that she needs an emotional support animal. Might as well take advantage of what everyone else is doing. She does hate to be away from her and has trouble sleeping without her. If anyone gives us any trouble we can threaten them with an ADA lawsuit. She craps on her rug anyway, or in her own half acre back yard.

Welp, I was successful at the oil pump and pan gasket replacement. What an F’d up adventure that was. Glad its over before it gets cold here tonight. So tired and sore from all the contortions and laying on the concrete. But overall feel pretty good about it. Got a couple of other truck issues to resolve, but at least they won’t be as difficult. Ready for a pipe!
More blessings to those with health needs and/or family health concerns, I wish you all the best!

Our "baby" is a service dog and she doesn't ever bark, as a result we can take her everywhere and she has her "Service Dog" red tag/vest that we keep on her carrier when we go places. www.chewy.com/b/service-dog-2575?nav-submit-button=&ref=searchRedirect

Ready for a pipe! More blessings to those with health needs and/or family health concerns, I wish you all the best! Chilton's manual and YouTube can teach you A LOT. ALWAYS torque correctly, itll save a big headache. Same with tightening patterns on some parts. At least you're working on a truck. My first teardown / rebuild was an 87 celica, I miss that car. My newest piece of crap is a 95 civic. Small car + 6'1" = I've contorted like I'm possessed by a demon. A pipe, or especially a cigar, after a successful job on a car is nice. When I dropped my transmission and then got it back in and the car put back together at 130 am on a work day, I sat out in the cold and puffed away on a cigar. Smoked it to the bubb. (No transmission jack)

I will tell you this right now I am not sure about sky Gods, Easter Bunnies, The Great Pumpkin but Santa is the fing real deal going back to 280A.D. Santa lives in all of us and brings only joy to small children and adults who just believe. Don't make me shave my legs and hitch hike to kick your scooter tires.

got back about an hour ago. been a very long, frustrating day. originally she was supposed to go in for surgery at 8am but they had to restock the OR because a lot of surgeries were done overnight. long story short her surgery ended up being at 6pm. she was brought back at 10pm. have to go back tomorrow to learn about therapy. she had a partial replacement. Glad she got her surgery. That therapy is important and she will likely need your help for a while. The plan, as I understand it, is to get the patient up and out of the hospital ASAP to avoid complicating infections, bedsores, respiratory problems. So, they really push the patients to get moving. Seems hard at the time. she's not happy she has to go to another facility for rehab before coming home, but will do it because she wants to be as mobile as she can.

That is not uncommon, sending the patient to a facility for post surgery care and early rehab. It appears to be a tough haul at first. Hope she will get along with it. From what you wrote, sounds like she has determined which way to go.

I have an afgan that I get out to put over me when I lay on the couch in the winter but I have to fight with my old kitteh for it! She gets on it and curls up thinking it's hers and when I go to use it she hisses at me. I have to pick her up and put her on the floor and hurry to get under it on the couch. Doesn't matterto her, she just jumps up and gets on top of me and wriggles around till I move to where she wants me and settles down for her nap. The saving grace to all this is she radiates enugh bodt heat rite thru the afgan ! Here she is:

Got up earlier than usual, put out the 2 trash containers, wife says I’m too old and senile, hey it’s our anniversary and I’m surprising her. North wind at 15, 41 degrees, for Southerners it’s nippy.

Sounds pretty lovely, even with the temperature. I’ve been enjoying mine so far. Wife made buttermilk biscuits from scratch this morning with some percolated coffee (I love this woman). Boy is growing fast, standing up, and very grabby! Going for a pipe here shortly.

53 right now in the swamp perfect weather for shorts and zip up fleece jacket. Not wearing flip flops had to switch to cold weather gear Sperry Topsiders. Got my new underwear today after they rode around on the local Fedup delivery truck for four days. How I deplore Fedup let me count the ways. Walt get better or just pretend that you feel better. Also awaiting what treats momma brings home today she still has not brought home Irish Cream. Hung out back with the ninja dog without a leash. We don't need no stinkin leashes. Putting a leash on my dog makes me feel like one of those people in mall that cant control their kids and have to use leashes. I have only had one dog that needed a leash it was a Jack Russell. Now that dog could cover ten city blocks faster than a Maserati and slip through cracks in a fence to small for a mouse. I miss Marissa sometimes she kept me in much better physical condition.

I haven't had a pipe since Sep, I think. It's been so long I can't remember.
