After Chicken, Bacon and Corn Chowder I am smoking Captain Black Cherry in a tiny version of the Nording Compass. Not even the tobacco from one cig would fit How big is it?

The pipe is a thin metal tube with a bowl slightly larger than an acorn.
Hillbilly Jim just made it into the WWE HOF. Congrats

OGS in the Sloop John B Sea Rock with amber swirled stem. On deck is some Murray's 1862 Whitehall, a gift from @rekamepip

Late start today. Smoking Molto Dolcemacallit in a cob that I forgot the type of. Finally getting better flavor from it by drying it. I am usually too impatient to do so. Probably going to be another soup day, lunch and dinner. My McClelland hoard came in. Only 3 tins of Best of Show Aro. Ronv69 is a fan of this too, and it is still available. Since this really does need aging, three tins is about all I'll be able to enjoy in a lifetime. Were you referring to the Molto Dolce or the Best of Show? I have never tried BOS.

Crap, I probably conflated two posts in similar threads. I know you mentioned Black Alamo and another. BOS is similar to Black Alamo, so if you like that you might want to check out Best of Show Aro.

And to those who hold grudges I own up to my mistakes and apologize. Can't be helped if that is not good enough. Meant for no one who has posted in this thread. For the outsiders

smoking a bowl of Prince Albert in Corn Cob Nose warmer while cleaning up an old Savinelli Estate Pipe burning the carbon out of the bowl using a technique similar to this I did that a few times, but not exactly on purpose. Saved me six bits on a shave and a haircut. Also learned not to change fuses naked

This OGS has been a good sweet and grassy burn all the way down. Just checked. An hour and still going.

After a supper of Sausage Gumbo soup that I threw a Kim Chi Noodle package into I am smoking my first bowl of Murray's 1862 Whitehall in a Unkrainian Ball Pipe with Meer Filter. I had been looking at this Whitehall mixture for a while and then Sloopy gifted me a tin. I smoke Whitehall Black Tie because of the name, too, though I love it. This Murray's is extremely smooth and could actually be an all day smoke. I am not surprised it is good. I am surprised it is this good from first puff

Often read reviews where someone mentions "plum" notes in a tobacco. Never caught them until this 1862 Whitehall. Working now on a Lane Black Cav that is sold as Tinderbox Lamplighter in Der Bingle

Beautiful! I finished my bowl of BB1938. Having a glass of red wine and watching food tv before bed. Scott, had to look up BB1938. I have several Dunhill mixes here, but am not familiar with all their stuff. I note this because one reviewer said this tobacco had "zero complexities". I have no idea if it's true, so I dropped on in my cart. My thoughts are that maybe zero complexities can be a good thing. I often tout Whitehall Black Tie as a really pleasant smoke. No complexities in that either. Just a nice smoke. How do you rate your BB1938?

It’s not as complex a nightcap but delivers a strong lflavor to me. There is a bit of a sour note mid bowl but it dissapates. I do like it, I wish I liked it more but again, I don’t think I’ve appreciate it yet due to congestion, etc. I’d give it between 3 and 3.5 out of 5

I had faith the flavor was there. I'm not just saying this, but reading all the "notes" that JimInks The Man From I.N.K.S had in his reviews convinced me to keep puffing away. Being in a club like this where the members are not down on Aros helped a lot, too

Spent the last part of yesterday watching a long interview with the Hulkster, along with videos of G.L.O.W. Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, Wendy Richter, going back to the 1985 days of Wrestlemania and the MTV War to End the Score Rock Wrestling Connection. Watching Mr. T, whom I get an occasional reply from on Twitter, jump into the ring to defend Hulk is one of my top moments of all of wrestling.
I started the day with Five Brothers in my Sloop John B Sea Rock Ship of the Line. The nick hit got me buzzed a tad. That is one huge full-force tobacco.
Going to stick with Burley Blends the rest of the day... so I say now, but right in front of me is Ole Shenandoah Appalachian Berry.
Bully the Lionhearted has planted his arse next to mine in bed. Xuan calls his name every so often (which he runs to meet her) just to let me know who is really in charge.

Just finished my coffee and lit up a bowl of Ole Shenandoah Appalachian Berry in my Shakespeare Meer, gift from scrooge, brother #6. This berry is actually the best berry tobacco I have had. Back to conspiracy intel feed.

Smoking some Peretti Oxford Flake in the Chacom Sixtus 342 pipe with some Sunriver Vermont Vacation IPA along side while listening to some Art Bell Dreamland Radio (90's Art Bell re-runs). Art Bell rules!

So, curiosity strikes me... is this supposed to be another "What are you smoking" thread in an alternate universe?
Seems that this is a bit redundant... just my opinion.

So, curiosity strikes me... is this supposed to be another "What are you smoking" thread in an alternate universe? Seems that this is a bit redundant... just my opinion. Yes, an alternate universe, where people are encouraged to post what they are doing in total, not limited to what others think they should post. Too much don't do as I do, do as I say Edit - And maybe 6 threads on McClelland was a little much. Complaints were that they didn't want videos posted in the WAYS thread. Then they didn't want long commentary. Then they decided strictly posting tobacco and pipe, Then the Fearless Leader, with two years seniority said he won't change his was of posting after telling everyone to change theirs. The idea for this thread was to allow people to post what they are doing... in total. It gives a better idea of what the person is doing with surroundings. Edit part 2 - It does make sense in that many read and post in the WAYS thread from a mobile device, which with videos and images makes it much more tedious.

Edit part 2 - It does make sense in that many read and post in the WAYS thread from a mobile device, which with videos and images makes it much more tedious. The idea of the WAYS thread from my perspective has always been for people to share what they are doing in general, not just smoking. A sort of diary. A way to share some of your life with your fellow pipers. That being said, having places to post for different activities, such as What are you eating, what are you drinking helps keep things neat and clean. Personally, I feel that having yet another thread that combines several different topics that are represented elsewhere, just confuses people. The idea of this site, or any site for that matter is to have a little bit of structure. People creating their own personal WAYS thread doesn't lend to that. I'm not trying to be overly controlling, but this site is not a free for all. There is a reason that it's laid out like it is and that there are categories. If someone has a suggestion on how to improve something, by all means, feel free to PM me, or start a thread asking for input. I would prefer that people don't take it upon themselves to decide how the site is going to be structured and execute that without asking for input from the person that pays to keep the lights on. And, out of curiosity... who is the Fearless Leader? I look forward to some additional input on this topic.
