Paddy does drink wine, that I noticed prior....CHEERSπππππππππ Wine for an Irishman? You've got to be kidding. Whiskey is the Water of Life! I've never had a good whiskey. I do like a Guinness though, or their latest creation, hop House 13.

I may take a wee tour of the Bushmills distillery. They have a taster after that might help open my eyes to the world of whiskey.

Their Irish Honey liqueur is great and handy to have for medicinal purposes. Seriously.

I do like a drop of Bushmill's 16 yr old time to time. And the 12 yr old really improves the flavor of tea.

It's now been 2 weeks since my last pipe. I think it's safe to say I'm not addicted.
But I do miss the experience... Not so much that I'm in the garage having a bowl.

I do hate it when I have a cold and can't smoke for 2 weeks. I feel for you, Paddy.

We got a picture of Audrey today. She is walking around the hospital smiling while supported by two nurses.

So, when will you have your next bowl, after your doctor visit? Possibly. I've not stopped it because of my throat - it's just the weather has sucked and I'm a fair-weather piper. At times I'd use the garage but oftentimes I can't be bothered going into the garage to do that.

When I had too as well for a couple of weeks, guess because I donβt inhale I did not suffer from the shakes like many usually do. But I really enjoyed that very first pipe thereafter πππ

Since we've not had much sun since the last week in July that's why I haven't been out as much. Like most people, it's the experience...and for me part of that experience is the weather.

I too am a fair-weather piper, and of late the weather has not been fair at all, either raining or hot and humid

I tried that once. It worked, but it felt really strange.

Well, the first stage at the dentist went well. I should be able to have a pipe by Monday. Then on the 28th, they start with the oral surgery.
