Back from the mechanic...nothing is leaking...light oil spray in the "bonnet"...no clue. Cleaned everything and no leaks of any kind...mystery problem that isn't a problem. Time for a nap.

You have an honest mechanic, saved you quite a bit of moneyπππ. Most would have cleaned the oil and would find something wrong @ $100.00 plus an hour. Heβs a keeper!!

Anybody who still believes cleaning the oven is "woman's work" is dead wrong. I sliced open my forearm, sucked up toxic fumes from Easy Off (which isn't so easy and requires multiple applications) and my hands are prunes.
Tough job this one. Points to anybody who undertakes the task.

Iβm happy here there is a self cleaning oven, might cost $3.00 worth of electric when used every other month. But it turns all the soot, grease and pan drippings into a fine ash. Wipes clean with a paper towel. Easy off is not as β easy β as it was years ago with all the chemical restraints, you know we at home are destroying the ozone layer.....not NASA......yeah right!

Thankfully my wife loves cleaning the oven.
I hope all of you have a great day. I'm about to watch iron man with my daughter.
I had a pipe loaded up with royal yacht earlier, but the mother in law called round earlier than she was supposed to. That put an end to that.
But we got free cpr training so if my daughter needs it I know what to do.
Still, I would have got the training anyway, but if the mil came at the proper time I would also have had a pipe.
But again, she's normally late....

Most honest man I have met...the brake man is right next door...also honest as the day is long...having two right next to each other has to be some kind of record. Tried to pay the mechanic for his time...wouldn't hear of it...I had brought back some BBQ sauce from Texas for him (the owner) and his mechanic who owns 3 S-10's and knows them inside out...he is the one who actually does the work on my truck...brought him back sauce too. Great shop with whi-f i for his customers. Has blues playing on Serix (or however it is spelled) radio. He used to play bass.

Glad the truck is ok Walt. That could have been an unneeded expense.
This rain can stop now. It interrupted by bowl of '13 Christmas cheer and has put a hold on the 5100 I had out.

Just finished talking to my neighbor for a bit. His mother (93) passed away today and they're rushing to get things ready for a funeral in South Florida this weekend. They still have to file papers here and have her transferred down there. I was able to take some of the load off by offering to keep his small dog. He told me I could just stay there to make it easier on me and her. Works for me, works for the pooch and helped them out A LOT.
We're related, far down the chain. I'd do anything in the world for them and they would do the same.

Keeps the karma circle unbroken and everyone is happy! Been a pretty good day...truck cost me nothin but a bottle of a great BBQ sauce which I had brought back for the mechanic anyway...got to take a nap, got to smoke a lot of good tobacco...my doggie is happy, she got some steak again tonight...smile on her face was good to see. Life is good.
