1971 for me. Went into a Tinder Box at a new mall and was captivated by all the smells and choices. Immediately became a pipe enthusiast.

Worst part is that I spent $30 bucks on that first pipe and have no idea
What became of it. I don’t even remember what it was except a slight bent Billard.
And like Yohanan it was 1977 until about 1981.
Then I saw the light and came bake in late 2016.

In the 60's, in the Navy. First pipe was a Yello-bole, burned through the bottom. Deep sixed her somewhere in the North Atlantic near the White Cliffs of Dover.

I started at 16 , so 97-98. I gave it up when I left for the Army and just picked it up again over a year ago. With A Vengence! Haha I voted 2010s. Just seemed fair.
