What's your favorite Lakeland aromatic tobacco? I've smoked three thus far, namely: 1. Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Dark Vanilla, 2. Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake, 3. Samuel Gawith Kendal Cream Deluxe Flake. I don't care for Dark Vanilla, as the floral essence is too strong for me. However. the other two are very good. So my favorites are the following in the order shown: 1. Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake, and 2. Samuel Gawith Kendal Cream Deluxe Flake. What is/are your favorites?

Kendal Cream. I've been getting into GLP Stonehenge, which is a collaboration between Pease and GH. Just a hint of Lakeland for me.

Haven't tried Rum Flake, but sure liked Kendal Cream. Much better than Dark Vanilla. Still need to try Ennerdale one of these days, too.

I must give them a go since they're available in the UK. Cheers for the recommendation.

So far Top Black Cherry and Kendal Cream Flake were both delicious. I have Bright CR Flake, Grousemoor, and Ennerdale on deck.
I'm not a fan of most cherry blends, but the Top Black Cherry was incredible.

I'm not the world's greatest smoker of Ben&Jerry tobaccos, but 'Kendal Cream' and 'Ennerdale' I just have to try. I'm smoking myself silly with Rattray's 'Exotic Orange', which the little EU-nannies have renamed 'Exotic Passion'. Great stuff.

I like almost all of them, but Ennerdale is my favorite of the Lakeland aromatics.

Do it, but be prepared. It'll stay in your pipe forever. (The tin is nice too). I honestly do not know what happened to your quote.

I'm not the world's greatest smoker of Ben&Jerry tobaccos, but 'Kendal Cream' and 'Ennerdale' I just have to try. The Lakeland floral essence is stronger in Ennerdale. I recommend that you start with Kendal Cream and if you like it, then try the Ennerdale. That's "a bridge to far" for me right now, but I may eventually get there.

I have rich dark honeydew, kendal dark, kendal plug, grousemoor, and grasmere.
Rich dark pleases swmbo, amd Kendal dark kicks my arse. Both are great, grousemoor and grasmere are both treat smokes for me just too much essence of grandma to burn everyday.

Thanks very much for the recommendation. Now to get hold of some. It's not available here in Denmark, but maybe some German suppliers carry it.

I have 1 flake of Ennerdale from a sample pack. I had no idea it was Lakeland...I must fold it / cut it / rub it...stick it in my pipe and see what it's like. Maybe my eyes will be opened to a new wealth of tobacco experiences.

I have tried the Kendall Creme and Ennerdale. At this time my favorite Lakeland blend is the one furthest from my house. The Top Black Cherry is good, but it doesn't have a Lakeland flavoring.

I've also enjoyed Brown Flake Vanilla and Cherry Cream Flake. Not super Lakeland-y, but it's there.

The SG blends don't have that essence as much as G&H does and I do like the Kendal Cream Flake.
G&H Rum Twist is the one I'd pick for this query, however.

I recently purchased Bosun Cut Plug Unscented. My initial smoke left me nauseous, but subsequent smokes have been wonderful. I think I may give Brown Flake Vanilla or Kendal Flake a try next, or maybe I'll just jump to Ennerdale. Any recommendations as to which of these to get next?

G & H's Ennerdale Flake and Kendal Flake are absolute favorites. I also enjoyed Sweet Maple Twist but don't smoke it on a regular basis. I don't know why but I don't fancy so much SG tobaccos (besides their excellent St James Flake). Go figure.

I've only tried Grousemoor. Interesting. I jarred it for a later re-visit. I have a tin of Ennerdale to try as well. More sampling is required to decide whether I am a Lakeland fan. Would you guys consider 1792 an aromatic due to the whisky topping?

Would you guys consider 1792 an aromatic due to the whisky topping? I would - especially with the tonquin, too. It's a totally unique blend. I don't consider it a "Lakeland" though, in the sense that it doesn't have that geranium based scent.
