I usually start and end my day with GL Pease Cumberland. As for a beverage, it is either decaf tea or hot lemon water. Used to be whisky, but then......... A very wise, "but then" , I am a one cup & bowl most nights as a sacrament , but even the medics deny you the fruits of the vine & grain, once a night, but why should the devil's weed rule, lawlessnesss. Cumberland has a fine review, I have a pack of American blend samplers in my jar, to enjoy, but my Balkan blend is to my taste tonight , another night an aromatic. I am careful of balancing good medicine with bad medicine for health, but a tightrope at times.

Awake at one A.M it is Peets French Blend with real farm cream . The pipe has a little PS701 . For times when the weather is changing faster than my old bones .There is a bottle Jim Beam Black to nip on and ease the bite of time .

Scotch is my drink of choice for doing everything. Usually, late at night afterv4 is when i'm most likely to order a new pipe. Dangerous stuff, scotch is, and always expensive in the long run.

I remember my first trip to the States, I made the elementary error of asking for whisky, not appreciating I was not getting scotch, the peculiar thing was I never knew the difference. Following all the recommendations on here has me googling about all the quality pipes, but I try and handle my desire for a fine collection, at the moment I got stung by some estate purchases so I need to do some research, but nevertheless the estates please me. Also I am trying to carve some pipes of my own, work in progress. I am still dreaming of finding my perfect one and only Dunhill. cheers , slainte, Iechyd da.

When paired with a good smoke at night, I drink my vodka neat, and chilled fully until ice cold in the freezer. Other times I mix with fresh squeezed orange juice. I think you'll find the CONDOR a real treat!

Dozed in my chair & it has gone the witching hour, at least my dog loves me. So have browsed some piper forums. and for a night cap tonight, it is a straight Dublin Porter in a long plastic chalice, & a few bowls of straight Dunhill nightcap in my tiny steel pipes, with a chaser of straight Russian Vodka in my Cymru short glass, cheers, slainte, Iechyd da. PS, if that is not the death of me....I do not know what will, hi, ha, he. It is chill enough tonight, without ice.

always the same routine. Finish at the Chatzy chats, head for smoking room with about 1/2 an IPA left, light up whichever small meer I loaded earlier, put dog out, finish beer, then off to la la land.

Motzek Strang Mixture w/a freezer-chilled ice cold Russian Standard vodka (a great vodka at a great price!)... listening to Old Time Radio (Pat Novak for Hire)... Dull grey and rain at times here today, it seems I do not understand American society, as well as I thought but it is such a huge continent, so much diversity. I had Harveys Bristol cream sherry, in a glass , in silence, with a bowl of Century Irish Cream , I thought they went together well. Then I made a little muzak on a little flute to accompany a modern classical chitarra, by Angelo Gilardino, called Musica Per l'Angelo della Melancholia, performed by Angelo Marchese, on the WelleszCompany Youtube Channel, a time for classical and a time for pop. I thought of an American tv program from my youth I love Lucy, hi..

Enjoying a mix of all my Chinese green teas in a blended pot for my cup tonight, accompanied by my two shop tin mixes, Avro & Brittania, which I will mix together in my tiny sampling bowl, I found these two brief British Balkan mixes tasty in complement to all my long American aromatic smokes recently. But more anon. It has gone midnight over here, and believe it or not they had snow showers in London yesterday, an unusual event.

And also the CONDOR, which I think you should become very fond of, particularly given its' floral/herbal essence quality. I find it to be quite the dessert smoke... meaning it is a dessert all by itself...

link to Avro & Brittania. Opening the tins, the aroma is as per the online description, British traditional Balkan , would they say, but it is a delight to me after the American aromatics I have been sampling after discovering the tastes of my new virtual American friends on the forums, the American & British Balkan complement each other like beer & wine or whiskey & brandy. The first tiny bowl of Brittannia, was to my taste, spicy & gamey ( it reminded me of my first enjoyment of a bowl of Squadron leader, but not as rich, more pointed in taste) it put some " wind in my sails" I am used to a milder blend , fun , a fine British Balkan to savour with a prolonged after taste, early days yet. I can imagine a hardy sailor taking a breather between pulling on the ropes, puffing on his fruity pipe, or corncob, for a spicy gamey bite to temper his appetite, yet a strong high to revive him from the ache. That is Brittannia. But the online description does not do it praise it enough. They are both delightful, my complements to the mixer, like Frankincense & Myrrh. The Avro is a taste of sweet fresh meadows and green deciduous tree leaves blowing in your face in the green summer breeze, with an earthy odour of deep richness. Yet Avro is a young brassy pilot lazing between missions in a meadowy strip, tasting the wind blowing sweet in memory of his love, of the grassy dry fields of earthen roots, the mild hint of something spicy to do in forlorn hope. Such is my pipe dream tonight, fine in moderation, but over the top in excess. Well I would recommend them is the quick answer.

I've decided... the best dang VaPer on the planet... HU Director's Cut... smooth, sweet, full-flavored, complex, best burning, yada yada yada... pay the overseas freight and wire transfer fees - it's well worth it! :-) Of course this is just my personal opinion... decide for yourselves. Russian Standard vodka freezer-chilled to ice cold perfection... Manischewitz Matzos unsalted crackers for appetite and to wash the palette... Star Trek rerun on the boob tube... my two beloved cats and trusty canine keeping me company like no human can. My BriarPatch friends on the internet... what more can I want for?

My little menagerie of rescue pets and dog Pop, are good company with virtual friends in the stratosphere. I like Tortilla crisps with a nice dip, at times, enjoy...but my pipedreams, take me beyond the stratosphere.

Quiet day, wet with unseasonal hailstones this evening. Never did the jobs on the list, other things came up. Having a slow tankard of Guinness Original , enjoying Ethiopean Orthodox religious Harp & solo chant, (YT) , with me on my Pipe & Tambour, with occassional puffs of backy. What can I say.......
