Tonight I had one bottle of Black Diamond Porter (Gower Brewery, Swansea, Wales), and watched an episode of Black Sails , very dark and grim and violent! I will look into HU Directors Cut ( recommended by Baboo ) & Strang ( favoured by Jiminks). I am looking into getting a good Burley tobacco anyone have a favourite ? I also have a new bottle of whiskey I have not tried, Penderyn Red Flag, Welsh whiskey, I will try a cup with a pipe but I am having some Murrays Warrior Plug, I will have to look on YouTube to find the best way to prepare plug, I suppose you cut it and rub it, but we will see. Enjoy folks.

The Strang Mixture burns wonderfully and tastes sweeter (which is more to my liking) than the Rope (currently out of stock). They are both very rich tasting as far as VaPers go. I also very highly recommend Han's HU Dockworker ;-) Slàinte mhath !!!
P.S. VaPer = Virginia (Va) & Perique Cutting a plug is easy - use a large sharp heavy-duty utility razor and cut thin slivers of plug, then simply rub out to desired texture (maybe let dry for 15 minutes if needed)

I enjoyed the Warriors plug, but had a strange mix of spirit minotaures & lemonade & waters, I did not try the Red Flag. Then had a weird nightmare of "flea ninja frogs" , Hi ! Must be the " Matrix" ! Feel like watching "the Godfather" Marlin "James " Brando, in the Apocolypse Now, & Apocolypto & the late great Patrick McGoohans " The Prisoner", :-(-: It is all getting very Hellywood versus ChinGIwood. I had googled "Vap"er and YT'ed Plug Cutting... Back to the Drawing board & my prayer bedes & counting bedes. See you later Calligators... Cheers, Iechyd da, Slainte, Skol.

I am looking into getting a good Burley tobacco anyone have a favourite ? Motto, I have several favorites but among the best of the readily available (in my opinion) is Wessex Burley Slices. Good dark Burley flavor, light sweetness. It's said that this is the reincarnation of the venerable Edgeworth Slices. I'm not sure of that, but it's a top notch Burley on it's own merits.

Comoy's Cask #11 hoping to bring this muted palette back to life after a bout with the flu, watching Dick Cavett's 1970 interview of Orson Welles... what a character!
I 2nd the motion re Wessex Burley Slices. And although I find that it is not Edgeworth Sliced in true spirit, it is a very fine Burley wine indeed... and many are known to prefer it! Cheers!!!

I tried it yesterday but could hardly appreciate the Comoy's cask #11 to it full glory. Watching an episode of Wagon Train (1959). I do love my westerns... next on the dial will be Gunsmoke, The Big Valley, and Bonanza!!!

Gents, maybe I'm a bit confused... but how is this thread different than the smoking thread that everyone posts in. It seems a bit redundant to me, and quite honestly, a bit confusing.
If no one can make a solid argument why this should remain in tandem with our smoking thread, I think we need to close this down.
