Good evening, you all. A belated mid-evening smoke; Red Orlik in a Stanwell-made Orlik no. 01-06-07. The little tobacco jar is just perfect for 50 gr. of flakes.

Beautiful, fantastic day! I sat out reading while hubby worked in the yard I started my smoking evening at about 5pm.
First off I tried a blend of Old Joe Krantz and Star of the East Gold (recommended by a friend) in a MM Country Gent, sipping water.
Next I had Belmont Station in a MM Twain, still sipping water.
I followed that up with Cockstrong in a MM apple Diplomat, water on the side.
We stopped for dinner -- Bean Soup, then went back outside and lit a fire in the fire pit.
I lit up some Klompen Kloggen in a MM Twain, sipping some Hobgoblin Dark English Ale.
Next was some Balkan Sterling in a MM Country Gent.
Then I had Royal London Dock in a MM apple Diplomat
I finished up with Roll Cake in a MM 5th Avenue Diplomat and also finished off the Hobgoblin.
Had a lovely view today
Hi Lady. Where did you find Klompen Kloggen? I remember smoking that prolly 40 years ago. I've not seen or heard of it in all that time. Seems it had an unusual tast to it.
It is a blend from Sterling Tobacco, and it does have a different kind of smell. The taste is good, though.

LOL. We only sat out until 10pm, so no sleep deprivation.
Yes, Klompen Kloggen is Dutch and it's great! Hubby even likes the smell. Win!
Agreed on gardening Especially when you have a cute gardener
OK, admitted, 10pm is not that late. Thanks, I have to get hold of that Klompen Kloggen. Maybe DW likes the smell better than the smell of Latakia. I too have a cute gardener, but we haven't got a garden, she can be cute in. So she's cute all over our flat and the potted plants on the balcony.
That counts as a garden, lol

I’m not nuts about the aftertaste so far. It’s like breathing through a dryer sheet. But, I enjoy the taste when I’m smoking it. I’ve only smoked 3-4 bowls of it so far though. I feel by then end of this first pouch, I should know whether or not to sell the remaining 4 or buy more

Despite being a beautiful day here, I opted out of golfing today and hung around the casa. Been travelin a lot lately and just wanted to relax.
After finishing a few "honey do's" it was time to head up to the mancave and jar up some of my recent acquisitions, as well as hang a few more reproduction Pipe Tobacco signs and a couple of Henry Weinhard's as well.
My first smoke of the day was a nice bowl of Full Balkan Reserve in one of my Bent Bulldogs.
Then it was time for some MM 965, in another Bent Bulldog.
Now, after dinner with the fam I'm sittin back in my comfy leather chair, watchin Stuff & Things on YouTube and enjoying some And So To Bed in yet another Bent Bulldog (GBD) sippin Bourbon and water.
