Half way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching the Dodgers-Marlins game.

Breaking-in the new Comoy Blue Riband 182 Saddle Billiard with some Edward G. Robinson blend. This is the first time that I've smoked EGR, and I really like the damn stuff! Great flavor, aroma, and stays lit as you tamp your way down the bowl. A person could get really used to this blend. Interestingly, I purchased a tub of this back in Spring of 2016. Then recently decided to purchase a couple of tin's. Its the tin that is open and will be enjoyed till conclusion... I’ve been thinking about ‘cellaring’ a pound. I’m an advocate for aging tobacco, but I don’t believe it changes. I’ve only smoked It fresh and it’s delightful. Open it, savour it and share your experience with us. Thanks for the inspiration man. I have another pound in the cellar with about 2 years on it. I should just open the jar and get it over with.I have some 2 year aged OJK that I will say has improved a lot since I purchased it. To my tastes, aging does make a difference, depending on the tobacco of course. The 2 year old OJK is much smoother, and working in unison than when fresh. You should buy some Pegasus to age. I can send you a sample of the 4 year old jar when I open it if you want? Just let me know. ...Greg, just open the damn jar please...

I've been absent a few days so here goes:
Match Holiday on Tuesday Standard Mixture Mellow all day Wednesday Standard Mixture Mellow and Sutliff RR today
I'm near the bottom of the tin of Standard Mixture Mellow and like many other blends the small broken bits smoke harsher than the luxurious ribbons one finds at the beginning of tins.

What a week so far. Had company over the weekend. They left Sunday evening. Monday morning Stormy showed up looking for his burley. Needless to say, I did not have time to put it out in it’s usual place. I finally got a break and put out some SWR. I guess he didn’t like it because he has stayed around all week and is not expected to leave anytime soon. I really like the guy but, enough is enough. I’m beginning to grow web feet. I shouldn’t complain though or he might send his evil brother Bubba down to relieve him. Finally settled down for a cob full of Amphora Brown and a glass or two of Merlot. Goes nice with the sound of rain drops falling on the skylights. Been meeting with the chamber of commerce about that sunshine state thing. There not seeing it my way. Thanks for the SWR. DFM in the Cala-Dog. Pepsi.

Stormy is easier to bribe. Relaxing after a wonderful steak and potato salad dinner, and am part way through this bowl of D&R Two Timer Gold in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215 egg with a black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Cubs game. Note to self. Bribe price increase. 😁💲💲💲
