Rewarding myself with my rationed Biplane Balkan (rationed because it has McC Grand Orientals). Today was momentous, finished up and test flew an airplane that I rebuilt the wings on, and it flew like new, no adjustments necessary. Happy customer, happy me, he paid cash, US, American, green. Frabjous. Another vintage tube and fabric airplane kept flying.

Good morning, you all. First smoke of this hot and humid day; 'Squadron Leader' in a Kriswill no. 79 - Chief. A large mug of green tea with lemon within reach.
(It does look like Robert Karl Kris was inspired by Sixten Ivarsson's Stanwell no. 86. A certain similarity is detected).
