Not overly fond of LakeLand Sauce, do enjoy Mick McCade plug and condor from the same pipe. what other options on the South side of lakelands are there? What ghosts would be compatible in the same pipe?
Yes, I read sarcasm and often comprehend.
Thanks Greg

Since I can't really taste the lakeland unless it's ennerdale, which is one of the stronger ones (from what I can tell), I'm not sure I can help, but I can point you to a recent thread that discussed some lakeland blends. That might help you out... thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/3124/favorite-lakeland-aromatic-tobaccoAnd then the discussion can continue below...

Have you tried St. Bruno? That might fit in the range you describe.

Thanks for the responses, looks like I need to hunt down Revor Plug, Condor Flake and RR I've had..enjoyed the flake way more than RR. I've had St Bruno from England, how does the blend now sold stateside compare.

I can heartily recommend GH Glengarry Flake. It's more toward the fruity than flowery. Very nice smoke!

When Standard Tobacco was developing War Horse Green with Russ Ouellette we were gong for a Condor Plug kind of vibe. Somewhere along the way we changed tack and went for a strong "last pipe of the night" type of blend and finally settled on the current blend. WH Green is different but may be of interest to some here.
