Someone gifted me a thing-a-ma-jig that makes perfect clear large ice spheres. One per glass. Beautiful way to serve Taliskers 18 year old, which someone else gifted me.

I am enjoying a nice room temperature glass of Newcastle Brown Ale only to see it is no longer brewed in the UK.
It seems that Heineken bought the label and it is now produced in Holland. Certainly the Dutch know about brewing but I miss the connection with old Newcastle waaay up north. Sad.

I here that. Mine is mostly high. meds help but generally close to 200/100 something.

I here that. Mine is mostly high. meds help but generally close to 200/100 something. That’s NOT good!!! Mine spiked to 257/138 from a new medication. Which I was warned by my pharmacist might cause BP problems. NOT taking the drug again. Already left a message for my doctor to call me ASAP......that’s over 4 hours ago. This type of “ care would not fly “ in NY. |

A pipe relaxes me, but when one suffers severe stomach cramps from very high BP your really not feeling well enough to smoke a pipe. I was in stroke territory, took three 50mg pills of Lopressor to drop it quickly. |
