Having some Twinigs Irish Breakfast ice tea with preserved lemon slices . If you have not had preserved lemon you need to seek it out .

This morning was Guatemala Antigua coffee and I'm now drinking an Arnold Palmer, light ice.
This evening will be a few shots of Jagermeister (Valentine's Day tradition) and a Runoff Red IPA from Odell Brewery in Fort Collins, CO.

Don't know how I missed this thread last night while sipping my 3rd scotch. Oh well, Gevalia coffee in my Car Talk travel mug. Sitting on the lanai.

I'm jealous. If I tried to sit on the lanai, I would probably get frostbit and freeze to the chair.

Hot salt water ... gargling, not drinking. Grand-kids just left today after an extended weekend stay and my throat is feeling scratchy.

Scotch on the rocks and hopefully the first of many tonight. It's also my drink of choice while in the chat room. So drop by there after 9:00 PM and watch me type like a chimp.

Highland Park 12 tonight. I like that one! Was thinking about Redbreast earlier. A very nice malty Irish Whiskey. Didn't follow-up on it, but it's still sounding good. Maybe a dram or two later this week. Got a pot of Barry's Gold going. A nice strong Irish breakfast/builder's tea. Haha, Strong Irish. That's exactly how he got that name, his love of Barry's. Now I see how that came about. Trying to lean more towards the teas and away from the coffee lately. Maybe a cup or two in the morning and after a meal or something like that. Trying to drink more green tea, but have been enjoying the black teas with some milk more during the transition away from coffee. Lots of water and some Kombucha a few times a week. Some good beer is sounding nice too. Got a box full of some nice brews and ciders I need to get to sooner or later. Had some of them for quite awhile now.

Had a bomber of Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale from Stone last night. A black IPA, quite tasty too, but it has been retired. Wants to be a bit hot/boozy/sweet, but the hops balance it out in the end. Very nice.

Enjoying a flute of Lindemans Cassis Lambic. Quite a few years on it. Tasty, but a bit too sweet. Some horse funk underneath. Low alcohol, but I wouldn't want more than two in a row. I don't know, tasting more sour now. Much better prospects for a session that way.

Mountain Dew. Never grew out of it. Alcohol on the other hand, I gave up years ago. Way less hangovers now.
