Erdinger non alcoholic beer this afternoon. And to think, you could have had a glass of Stout! There might be a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale in my near future. Room temperature, 65 degrees. Perfect! Sometimes I have to drive.

Coffee. Waking up from a good two hour nap. Ready to watch my struggling Broncos try to get to .500.

I have a friend who brews his own root beer. It has some alcohol content, though not as much as a beer, and it has a delightfully undersweetened root beer taste.
I wish I could drink it while smoking, but any kind of carbonation just rudes out my tongue when smoking. And, I wish I could drink more of it but my diabetes says otherwise.
But every know and then I have a bottle, and it so much better than anything I have ever tasted. Dark brown with a thick coffee colored tan head, so good. I love to drink it, and afterwards smoke a pipe.
I have most of a case of it in the cabinet, with four bottles in the fridge.
He has really perfected his recipe, and the consistency from brew to brew. He gives me a case every so often on his "mission of mercy" and I have taken to guiding him into smoking pipe.

That sounds great. I love a good root beer, but they are often far too sweet.

I'm drinking a glass of Baileys and I've just had an epiphany... It tastes like the smell of Solani festival. It's uncanny.

Not even a to go dinner.......lol That is standard around here. Help someone and get little in return. I have lost count of the dinners and parties I have set up at our community center for people. No invites, no food, no thanks in return for helping them. Just a sense of entitlement. I am an unpaid volunteer who manages the center. People have become very selfish, especially around the holidays. I help others because they ask me. It would be nice if worked two ways. Well, I enjoyed the two drams of Glennfiddich 14 YO. So, all was not lost.
