Just visited our local liquor store across the border in CO. They are OUT of Wild Turkey 101. Oh, the shame of it, I had to return home with Maker's Mark. It was that or Old Crow.....
Evan Williams was my go to daily drinker. It's basically the Carter Hall of whiskey. Nothing fancy about it, but it's cheap, tasty, and it'll get the job done.

Tosh^^^^^^^^^^ you wonβt be disappointed with Maker's Markππ Now steeping Taylorβs English Breakfast black tea, will add some orange blossom honey π― Truth is I find it rather bland. Smooth enough, just does not have that rye zing.

I rarely drink anything alcoholic any more, but tonight I am enjoying a couple of shots of Jamison's Caskmates Stout Barrel aged whisky with a splash of Dr. McGillicuddy's Apple Pie added. A pleasant nightcap.

Treated myself to a bottle of Glenmorangie 10 year Scotch last night and it's smooth as silk.

Treated myself to a bottle of Glenmorangie 10 year Scotch last night and it's smooth as silk. One of my favorites from the days I drank malt whisky.

Having a wee dram of Famous Grouse on the rocks. TGIF, Patchers! That is about the only Scotch Whisky I still drink when I can find it. Prefer it to most single malts. I must try their 12 year old some day.

A fresh press pot of Black Lightning ground by Aroma Coffee Roasters of Santa Fe. That ought to do the job.
