Bit of Rebel Yell. Whew. That's some decent whiskey. Not as good since they watered it down, though.

My main bourbon drinking times are my monthly jam session in my living room, and rehearsal with my old timey band every Wednesday.
Oh, and Friday after work is Bourbon and Soda time.

Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, 94 proof. Bought it on sale. Quite good! I seldom spend $32 to $37 for a Bourbon but wanted to try this one.

I've been on an Elijah Craig kick these last two bottles. Lovely, mellow stuff. And so much fun popping that cork before pouring.

Jack and Coke Zero tonight. Seemed like a waste mixing down Bulleit. I'd go as far as to say this works better in a mix.

I'll put it on the list! I'm relatively new to Bourbon. I have like scotch for a long time and Irish whiskey used to be my go-to. So far, Elijah Craig, Bulleit, and Knob Creek are my favourites.

I mean a highland like Glen Fiddich can be nice enough to drink with ice and get drunk on, but most of the scotch I drink like Lagavulin or Laphroaig are worth the coin cause I only sip it neat and with no intention of partying. Haha Just wet the lips for flavour.

In the beer cave/liquor section of the grocery store within walking distance of my house, they had a rep offering samples of High dollar scotches....I had five or six, and the chatty gal gave me he bottle of AB as a gift. Never had it before...not bad, it has a little kick to it.

Used to be my go to Bourbon many years ago. I haven't had Bourbon in years though. Jameson's Caskmates Stout Edition tonight.

It is always good. I usually pick it up on sale for about $25 a bottle. Smooth whiskey.

Back in the day I was considered a Port & Cab snob. I made a few bucks on some well sought after โ names and dates โ of the fore mentioned when I sold my restaurant in Europe and shipped back half my cellar to the States. I had connections......the crate zipped through US Customs sealed VIP......worked well for me๐
