A tall Tom Collins, shaken well, no ice. Did I ever mention I have an addiction.....it’s a good Brie or Camembert. Now having some thinly sliced brie on toasted focaccia. Stuffed extra large green olives handmade by me....Kirkland albacore tuna, roasted garlic and fresh chopped mint. Mixed and mashed well together......just outstanding 👍👍👍👍

Last evening was Pastis Ricard and New Amsterdam Gin on ice. No sense in wasting good English Gin with the strong flavor of Pastis. I like New Amsterdam and just wish they would up the proof to at least 90.

Rebel Yell bourbon, on the rocks. It was 100 deg F here today. Too hot for me. My wife and daughters are usually cold while I melt. I think I belong in a nice icy fjord.  |

95 degrees in the shade when I went out to work on the irrigation system again. Now that I am inside, a tall Arnold Palmer over ice. That is one refreshing drink. I really like it and owe it to youse guys here.

toshtego..........That does look good! It’s actually a beer I really enjoy, I’m not a big beer drinker. This is a local micro-brewery located not far from where I’m living. It’s now also available at all Lowe’s Foods in NC. The beer is made with the shell of the cocoa bean, just one of the many ingredients so I’m told. It’s a HEAVY beer, but a beer that many from this State enjoy. More flavorful in a different way then Guinness.........sorry Paddy.......lol. But Guinness sold here in the States is nothing like I sold at my restaurant in Europe. Also, Heineken in the States is watered down compared to what you’d find throughout Europe.

My first mug of coffee ☕️ of the day is ready👍👍. Taking my granddaughter’s for ice cream made locally and served in a waffle cone later in the day. Also picking up a package that my daughter was suppose to drop off within the last two days.....she didn’t have time. I’m looking forward to seeing what this surprise is👍👍👌
