Yep. Coke and Sprite are the worst. It feels like it could eat the enamel off your teeth immediately and burns the whole way down.
What makes it worse is, I very RARELY drink soft drinks and I was looking forward to that one.

1 finger of Old Granddad 114 straight up. It's not much, but it doesn't take much. Great stuff. Used to be the favorite of "The Mayor" whatever happened to him.

My last haircut was so bad that I gave up haircuts for good. the difference between a bad haircut and a good one is about 2 weeks. This one took 3 months to get back to something close to normal. Young blonde airhead running her mouth and not following instructions. Last 3 times with 3 different barbers. No one can do a normal haircut anymore.

A 32 ounce can of Carlsberg beer, perfect for after class tonight.
Sensei informed me that starting in September, my son will be moving out of the juniors program and into the Adult classes. I’m very proud of him.

Went to Total Wines And More store today, as it was next to the Best Buy store the wife wanted to visit. You could quickly spend a weeks paycheck in there once you got going, so I decided not to spend any money. Went to Albertson's on the way home, and checked the Just for you App. Wild Turkey products had a $5 digital coupon, around the neck of the bottle was a $3.00 coupon...750 Ml bottle was $15 out the door...so this is what I am drinking.

After the rattlesnake encounter, Cazadores Tequila Reposado and Simply Juice Limeade over ice. A nice combination.

For much of the year and its colder months, that is my preferred beverage. You made an excellent deal at $15. George Dickle is my second choice.

Now enjoying a large Beefeater Martini, shaken over ice, with a green stuffed olive, a black oil cured olive and a cornichon from Fraaance. I need this one after fighting with UPS this afternoon. I had to cancel delivery of four bottles of the new Cigare Volant 2018 sent by Boony Doon Vineyard to me. They were kind enough to place a cold pack in the box and a three day delivery should be fine. Sadly, the utter imbeciles, the completely stupid, the pointless humans who make up The United Parcel Service here still cannot figure out how to deliver a package in this community. No matter that this spot has been occupied since 1911. No matter I have spoken with them hundreds of times over the past 21 years. They simply cannot find this address on this road. The road signs which are placed conveniently at either end and spaced about 3/4 of a mile, are simply too difficult for these people to find. What it boils down to is that UPS just does not give a damn about deliveries to rural and small town America. We do not fit their business model. So, I have given up after all these years of pleading and explaining how to find a location established in 1911.

"We thought about what was said, John Jumper, Chili McIntosh, Buffalo Hump, Jim Buckmark, and me — I am Lone Watie. We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to deliver." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the United Parcel Service."
apologies to all.

I've started buying the little mini-cans of Dr Pepper, the 7.5oz ones. They go very well with certain tobacco. Especially the areos, like my usual BCA.

I am near the end of mt second Martini this evening. The two have been grand ones!
Working for a group of artists who want to run their own festival is a perturbation leading to a need for many Martinis. There is nothing stupider than a coven of artists. These are people who could not find their way out of a cave with flashlights, flares and a homing beacon. I just try to go along by getting along and help the poor dears. After all, THEY are artists.... Bless their hearts.
