Vintage Syrian. Wanted a strong smoke and this fits the bill. Just got off work. Sitting on the porch, sweating in the shade while doing nothing.

Cornell and Diehl Happy Days, in a rusty Sav 626.
I don't want to make you jealous, but I am smoking while working, on my porch, with my computer on top of a couple of camping coolers.
To complete the scene a Mr. Cardinal, in one of my trees, is desperately trying to impress a Miss Cardinal, sitting kind of indifferently on the phone line attached to the house service entrance. Its a lovely scene in which both know their parts, know the script, and yet don't know if the whole thing will play out this time. A couple of robins are foraging in the front lawn. By the size of them I judge they are very very successful. And a little chickadee (or whatever) is sitting on top of my faux oil street lamp.

Lanes Ready Rubbed in the Paronelli with the split in the bowl. I coated the split with pipe mud, and gave it a couple of smokes today, and just now. The split is still visible on the outside, but the pipe mud and smoking have created a cake on the inside, and you'd never know it was ever there Whew!

Since I was already hot I decided to do some garden and yard work.
Loaded up some Tsuge - Raijin. The last couple of times I smoked it I really liked it. It was "different." Today though, it was awful! The smoke was harsh as all get out and had a strong ammonia type flavor. It's most likely getting dumped now. I dont see it mentioned around here, but if any of you have tried it. I'd love your feedback on it.
Just finished a bowl of C&D Constellation in my Stanwell Black Diamond 404. First time with the pipe and it's wonderful.
Cool water to drink (all day).

Relaxing after a wonderful Far Asian pork roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans dinner with a bowl of Strang in a 2003 smooth medium bend straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera Dublin and a black acrylic stem. Had a hot fudge sundae for dessert. Having a welcome rain storm after such a hot day.
