Wilke #191 in a Butz Choquin Calabash with a GBD Perspex stem. French pressed Columbian coffee on the side. Rain just stopped, but the flooding continues. 4.5" (115cm)at our house, but 8+"(225cm) downtown. Not that unusual for us, but people are nervous about it for some reason. Didn't stop a few hundred from driving into the deep water. This is raising the car insurance for normal people who have sense enough to realize that a car is not a boat. Only 75 for a high today, so there's that. Legend Lover would be right at home. Our neighborhood is slightly greener than the Emerald Isle, too. You're probably right. Still no rain, but today we've cloud for the first time in a few weeks. Back to a slightly above-normal Irish summertime temperature of 64F.

January 17th is, on average, the coldest day of the year here. The average high temperature on our coldest day--61 F. I would freeze in Ireland.

A blend of FOUR different C&D Burley tobacco's aged for just over 6 years in a H.S. Studio sandblasted well balanced very dark brown bowl sitter poker pipe. An upwards two tone black/brown shank with a bent stem. I lost a bid on a smooth version of one of those with a straight stem yesterday. How are those HS Studio pipes? About 3 years ago before this seller ( imported these pipes ) became popular due to the fact that many pipe smokers were skeptical about purchasing pipes made in China, the 5 that I won were all under $30.00. To be honest with you, all are good to excellent smoking pipes and well worth the money. Now that H S Studio pipes have been around for some time and the word spread about the overall craftsmanship the same or similar pipe now has doubled or tripled in price. If your able to find a particular style you like and you end up the winning bidder at a reasonable price you’ll enjoy smoking the pipe. Also, beware....there was an issue with this seller posting some extremely rare expensive pipes that turned out to be Chinese copies/clones, which the Chinese are known for and good at what they attempt to pass off as the “ original “! Those so called “ rare “ expensive pipes that serious pipe collectors purchase as an investment have been removed from their website. I have to admit that many of the pipes this seller posts look different, style, shape and design. Are they done by Artisans, I doubt it. Most likely done on a lathe with a computer program similar to autoCAD 3-D designs.Remember, you want an inexpensive good smoking pipe, not an Art investment!!! This is the description posted by the seller on their types of pipes they sell: "HUGE STONE" is a Hong Kong-based art investment and collection company, it also cooperation with pipe artists from Europe and China's. There are two series under HS Studio: "Classic" series, inscribed as "HS STUDIO / ROAD TOWN", Make the traditional style of pipe. "FREEHAND”series, inscribed as "HS STUDIO / HAND MADE", Make freestyle pipe.
