SG Full Virginia Flake dated 2007 in my Joh's smooth Brandy bowl with an oval shank and a wide slightly bent stem. Another of my bargains on eBay a few years ago. Won this pipe in unsmoked NOS condition for just under $35.00 delivered. The maker and pipe are both from Denmark. Joh’s at one time worked for Bjarne Nielsen and learned much from his craftsmanship 👌👍

You're probably right. Still no rain, but today we've cloud for the first time in a few weeks. Back to a slightly above-normal Irish summertime temperature of 64F. January 17th is, on average, the coldest day of the year here. The average high temperature on our coldest day--61 F. I would freeze in Ireland. And I would cook where you live!

Enjoying a bowl of Astley's No.44 in the best smoking pipe I own (a Willmer, of course). Sipping iced tea.... I have no idea why this pipe seems to bring out the best in every tobacco I put in it--but it somehow does.

Lane 1Q in a cob with my first cup of coffee this afternoon. The more of this I smoke, the more I like it.
