Good morning to you all. First smoke of this sunny Friday; McConnell's 'Pure Orient' in my M.A.N. B&W Diesel Stanwell no. 19 - Royal Briar. I have a morning appointment at the hospital to have my heart scanned and I just heard DW mumbling something, that sounded suspiciously like "...having your head scanned while you are there". A DW with a sense of humour, is a gift. Sometimes.
lol @dw. another very nice shape, i like it

I’m smoking another bowl of Amphora in the same pipe. Sam, I’m really enjoying the heck out of this Amphora Original. I find it smokes with more overall complexity if the tobacco is removed from the pouch, mixed well and broken up a bit and jarred. I still have some from 2014 in pouches besides what I’ve jarred. This and the Sutliff ERR Match will be the ONLY tobacco’s I will most likely purchase more next month. Enjoy your pipe and have a great day and a better weekend. PS Have not seen my daughter yet, hopefully over the weekend.

I think I’ll try your method. Thanks for the tip.

Re-ordered the smokes this morning, having C&D Byzantium in my cuspidor stack. This is a very good Balkan to my taste. I think it gives White Knight some competition.

Just past the half way mark on this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Almost time for Mad Dog Russo.

First pipe after work was a cob of Amphora original (I need to get more of this). #2 was Drexel VIII in a cob. I really like this as well and I'm going to hunt down some more similar blends. Have some Bengal Slices drying a little now. Cant wait to load up the fat bowl of my Grabow Freehand. I havent smoked this in a few weeks, opening the jar made my mouth water
