Ancient Greece had the "State" and the "2 party in the Parliament" political system thousand years before other countries adopt it so back in 6th BC an "A" party man the Cleisthenes invented a way to "get rid off" his political opponents of the "B" party. According to the new system a complain even anonymous [!] by a citizen to another was enough for the Parliament and the Municipal Assembly to have a meeting to decide if "the regime was threatened by that man's activity and strength" and could contemned him to 10 years of exile without interrogation or apology [!] even if the man had no prior criminal record. Was enough for the procedure if 6000 votes were collected otherwise the meeting was over and the man was free to return back home. The votes were shells on which the citizen wrote the name of the man that was a candidate for an exile. Thus the majority of the brilliant minds of Atheneans died in exile or in prison cause of that "system" with all the possessions to be pledged. One day Aristides "the Just" was called and informed that was under a vote for an exile and as he got out from the building a poor man approach him and asked for a help, Aristides replied positive and the poor man gave him an empty shell and a graphida to engrave a name. "Which name you want from me to engrave?" "Aristides" "Do you know this man?" "No" "So why you want for this person to be exiled?" "Because i am tired to hear from all the other people to call him as: The Just" "So this is the reason that you want to vote against him?" "Yes" Aristides shook his head with skepticism and have the shell to the country man which went into the building to vote happy that he did his duty as a civilian and for the next 10 years he wouldn't hear anything for that "The Just" guy. I am smoking Dan Pipe Jubilee 30 in a Design Berlin that what happened that day was the epitome of the word "Ingratitude".

I have no clue what I’m smoking. My friend’s father grows tobacco in the Dominican Republic. He gifted me two unsliced plugs/ropish (?). I cut some into cubes and rubbed some out. It has a similar taste to Seminos. Does anyone recognize this tobacco? It’s strong, but not unpleasant.

It looks extremely dense, any way you can find out what the blend is made from, what types of tobacco’s and how it was cased/topped? Just so happens that AJ and I were discussing rope tobacco’s from the Dominican Republic and Brazil. Both countries have some outstanding rope tobacco’s to choose from. When I was in Brazil a number of years ago a local B&M had ropes that were wound on huge wooden spools, many different diameters ( from 1” to 4” ) to choose from as well as the many types of high grade leaf that was used in the process. One of the Brazilian ropes I smoked “ literally “ knocked me on my a$$, but it was enjoyable if sipped. When you smoke a bowl or three see what tastes your palate picks up as well as the aroma. Might be one of those ropes in which if your sitting down don’t stand up quickly.....you could fall over!!!

Cult Blood Red Moon in an MM Rob Roy Legend. Iced coffee on the side. This is my first bowl of the BRM. Wow. This is the best cherry I've ever tasted. It's actually almost like a baked cherry pastry. There's bread notes and everything. Good show!

I walk through the door about 4:15 this afternoon. After killing the usual rats around the house I'm finally sitting down to a big bowl of my brick and mortars black cherry out of my Country Gentleman. Just a little me time before Theo comes home and we have chicken salad before heading off to a fireworks display at Lake Loch Lomond in Bella Vista Arkansas. I haven't decided what pipe and which tobacco I will take but I will take a pipe and tobacco. On the fence depending on the demographic on one hand I think I should be able to smoke Outdoors wherever I want on the other hand there's a lot of Millennials up here to butthurt and I would rather not listen to him bitch. At any rate it should be a great time my little town always puts on a good show. Happy Fourth of July to all y'all if I don't see you tomorrow.

Boneyard in a cob when I got off work and headed to the garden in the blistering heat. Each pipeful had been different even though I dumped it in a bowl and mixed it all up before jarring it. I'm thinking about pressing about half of it.
White Knight in a cob while watering down the squash plants I chopped up and tilled under.
No more pipes until the sun sets. Anyone in Alaska hiring? Haha

I was told it’s literally straight tobacco, no casing. I believe it - it does have a soil like taste. It’s intersting. If you pm me your address, I’ll send you a sample. I’d be curious to get your take.
