Tempted to crack a tin of HH Burley Flake but trying to maintain control of myself and smoke through some of my jars. Can't, or dont feel the need to control PAD and TAD but I can control what I smoke.
C&D - Bayou Night (original jar) in a cob

Peterson University Flake in my Savinelli Oscar Tiger rustic 603. Limeade on ice. Delightful! Probably one of my favorite va/burs that I've ever had. Loving the plum top with the aged hay and nutty tobacco base.

Evening.
I lay out four of my Sav 626s. A Pietro, an Arcobalen, a Trevi, nand a Bianca. I open a pink tin of Rimboche S.J. dated a few months ago.
Get some ice water and a couple of CDs of Scarlatti keyboard sonatas for the stereo.
I sit down in my over stuffed chair, pack the first of the pipes, and open the first of three volumes of Batman Black and White.
Deep rich smoke, beautiful music, and Batman. Lots of Batman.

Decided upon some C&D Lunchtime Blues (it's lunchtime somewhere)in the Chacom 342 pipe with a 16 ounce can of Revision Sparkle Muffin Hazy IPA along side.
This Lunchtime Blues jar is going on two years old, so I hope the "nuttiness" of the Burley has mellowed a little.

Sounds like a great evening, Jeff. I had to look up the Rimboche S.J. on TobaccoReviews.com, but it sounds like one I need to try.
