Well here goes the Andullo in my freshly restored LHS Bulldog.
Nice dark brown/black tobacco. I dont even know where to begin describing this yet. But man, ITS GOOD! I need to prep it a little better next time. It took a few matches to get it burning right, but once it was going, it was wonderful. It even started raining and I refused to put it out and go in. Instead I got as close to the house as I could and stood under the soffit.
Sweet but salty, cool, delicious thick smoke. Picked up some light licorice/anise which is a bonus to me.
Thank you @lonecoyote great recommendation.
P.s. the pipe smokes good too

JimInks ‘Go ahead, make my day.’ I love the Dirty Harry movies except The Dead Pool. I’m about halfway through a bowl of Dorchester in a 2017 Don Warren freehand sitter with a plateau rim and butterscotch acrylic stem.

American Revolutionary WarAt approximately 9 pm on April 26th, 1777, Sybil 16-year-old , the eldest daughter of Colonel Henry Ludington, climbed onto her horse and proceeded to ride 40 miles in order to muster local militia troops in response to a British attack on the town of Danbury, Connecticut - covering twice the distance that Paul Revere rode during his famous midnight ride. www.kidsdiscover.com/quick-reads/sybil-ludington-teen-patriot-outrode-paul-revere/I am smoking Hearth and Home Marble Kake in a Aristocob with home made 6mm balsa filter.

Yup, plenty of sweet smooth creamy smoke, no bite if pushed, the licorice/anise is in the background, not overbearing. One of my top 3 Lane tinned tobacco’s 👌👍👍

Started today with a 320EX of Billy Budd Blonde, then moved on to a 320EX of S.J.
On my second 320EX of S.J.
Daughters and Ryan's Rimboche S.J. that is. A deep lovely smoke for which you have to be fully clothed. No bathrobe smoking for this one.

Having a good time this weekend trying Shortcut To Mushrooms thanks to a very generous 'benefactor' from another Forum. I'm trying it in a couple of different briar pipes, and hopefully tonight will have it in a cob. I've never done a tobacco review, but I may just do that when I complete this sampling.

Then buy bulk and put it away in a jar for a year or more cause they are the same. So they say, but not even close!!! I had some bulk aged almost 5 years, still not enjoyable enough to me, so I gave it to a friend that does not have much money and he enjoys this bulk in RYO. He’s not a pipe smoker, but when I see him I make sure he has enough tobacco’s. Good man, Ted!
