Just returned from walking the dogs. Having fed them their breakfast, currently warming-up some left-over Jasmine rice. Will throw a little sugar and milk on top, and we're done...

That sounds Good, but I like a bit of butter melted in with the rice.Cornbread is good that way as well. My mornings are most always smoke and caffeine. I work outside and if I have food on my stomach I get nauseous.

I eat supper and that's it... at least until it cools down in September or October. I miss breakfast though. 2 eggs over easy, 3 pieces of toast, and a few slices of bacon or sausage sounds really good. Maybe that's what I'll have for supper one day this week. Maybe some home made waffles too... Now I'm hungry...

Great breakfast after my doctors appointment at IHOP with AJ, fluffy cheese omelet with two buttermilk pancakes on the side. Of course two mugs of their excellent coffee. Neither one of us was able to finish the food, ( food was excellent but our appetites are not what they use to be ) the conversation and coffee was the best part.

A few years back, the family and I were returning from mission,Tx.We stopped in at San Antonio for the night, and the next day,I believe it's just north of Three rivers, we stopped for breakfast at the White Stag.Sounds like a bar,but they have some really good food.I ordered a full platter for myself,2 eggs, bacon, and hash browns.Got a stack of pancakes and a side of sausage links. The waitress tried to call my bluff when I added a Belgian Waffle. She wanted to check my pockets when I finished the last bite and asked my wife about dessert. For what it's worth,I have weighed 165 to 170 my entire adult life. But I CAN clean a table.

I work outside and if I have food on my stomach I get nauseous. I too agree with the use of butter. When I make rice, its two cups water and a good pinch of salt to a boil; I then place one cup of rice into the boiling water, and then bring the water to a boil once again while stirring so the rice does not stick to the bottom; at the boil, I bring it down to a simmer and add approximately two tablespoons of butter on top of the rice, covering the top of the pot with a paper towel, and then place the lid on top of the pot to close and seal; I simmer the rice for approximately eighteen minutes; after, I set it aside to rest for about ten minutes or so before using it; the butter simply saturates the rice during the cook, producing a tasty product when completed. Guess what I'm trying to say is, that there is butter in my rice

My breakfast is simple... Crunchy Nut cornflakes with milk, of course. I have that pretty much every day.

When my wife and I visited the town of Yorkshire a number of years back, we made pigs of ourselves at the local bakery/restaurant located near our hotel. They made a good pot of tea and sausage rolls. Just couldn't get enough of that great morning tea and sausage rolls

This morning it was a quarter pounder with cheese. McDonald's is advertising that they make them fresh personally I'd rather have the one that sits under the heat lamp the way they used to make them. I'm not a big fan of McDonald's but I'm also a diabetic so I had to eat something and they were handy. Bottom line don't waste your time on the new quarter pounder with cheese.

The ONLY fast food burgers I enjoy are Hardee’s, for me the best👌👍 I could never eat a McDonald’s burger after reading an article back in the late 90’s. Had to do with farm raised meal worms....not going there again!

Flame-broil their burgers and in my opinion are better than Hardee's although Hardee's nothing to shake a stick at.
